a few months for you since May/June applicants are currently being prioritized now.

Hi MK,

Any particular reason to say that? I think CIC's process is random and we can't tell much. Though I would like to see my DM soon, but my ECAS just turned in Medical Received last week and I wouldn't be surprise if I get IP in 2 months, and DM 1 month after (Considering that few of the peeps on this forum are sitting on IP for a while now).

Your thoughts?

Just an impression. Going by the PPRs and DMs i have seen from the last few weeks, it seems most of them are filed around may/june. Not many from later. Of course the prerequisite is your application is complete (MR, PCC etc and everyone is potentially unique in this regard).

Since our applications had similar timelines except medical, I suspect/expect that most of the processing has followed similar timeframes (give or take a few days), so chances are everything except MR is passed or almost passed on your app. Once everything is done, they put you in IP and do ELIGIBILITY after which you get DM and PPR.

You will notice that the most of the ones waiting on IP filed after us (July onwards). While those May/June and before are not IP. Either at AR/MR or passed IP. So my conclusion is if your app is complete, you get priority in IP if you are have been waiting longer.

Thanks MK. You've made my day. I hope things will go faster from now. Have been checking ECAS twice a day 8)

Any updates from cic? Anyone got DM or PPR this week? How long does it take to get DM after RPRF paid? In my case got IP first and then they asked for RPRF after 3 weeks. Isnt it weird? Anyone else in the same boat? It's really frustrating.

That's really quick, and very encouraging for all of us late 2014 applicants! Can I ask if you had an unusually less complicated application package? For example, maybe not many countries for background checks, and no spouse or children, or similar? (Forgive me if I'm being too intrusive into your life).

I work at Dubai for almost 6 year. I have spouse back home as a depended.good things I send my compleat application with all PCC and rprf fee. They just ask me and my wife medical. Apart from that they didn't ask me any additional document. I'm done with my medical on 28th April 2015.

Congrats Ppoonam! This is too hard to be true but taking into consideration the inconsistent nature of CIC's mode of operation, one cannot but agree that it is possible that you can get decision made in just 6 months.

Congrats once again! Hopefully this is a new trend in the way CIC operates.
