Hello Friends,

I have a question regarding the Medical Examination. I am an ON applicant and work in Alberta every 2 weeks (2 weeks in ON and 2 weeks in AB).
I am wondering if I do my medical test in Alberta, does it make any problem? It would be cheaper and much easier for me to do that here.
I was thinking they may question that why you are doing that out of Ontario?

Please advise.

You can take medical exam at any approved by CIC doctor's office / clinic across the globe.

yes i am the principle applicant and my wife as dependent.recent cic average time for asking police report and landing fee is around 9 months from the the time they recieved your file so your may applicant i guess , you should be getting your police report and landing fee request soon.let us know once you get bro. all the best
I sent my police clearance at the beginning already. I had my fingerprint last year with my visitor visa when I came back to my hometown. And I paid all my fees including landing fee in the beginning as well :( (bad move I think, because they won't ask me for that and then I don't know my application's status until the end :( ). By the way, if I'm May applicant as you said, hopefully I'll get PPR soon. I'll let you guys know when I have anything new. I'm still waiting in depression

Thanks. Do you (or from any other friends) have any experience of similar cases?
I applied through ON PNP.

Cheers

Thanks for your quick reply.
My concern was that they will check the location of the test and then they will question that why applicant did not do that in the nominated province.
Do you (or from any other friends) have any experience of similar cases?

Cheers

Yes, I think so, v_volf. You don't have to do the medical exam in ON.

Thanks for your reply. Do you know anybody have done this without any troubles?

Cheers

Hi gildeh, sorry but I don't know anyone did it. But in my opinion, they won't question about it. There's no restriction that you have to do the medical examination in the same place.

Thanks Genny. Hope this is true :) I truly agree that there should not be anything wrong about it; however, a bit concerned here!

A number of my friends and me inclusive had our medicals done in a different province. Absolutely no prob about that. In Canada, the freedom of movement is guaranteed by law. Working for your nominating employer doesn't mean you can't travel.
