@shareview, thanks for giving a heads up._MK_ said:I can login to see status as well.
However the only thing it says is that they received my application on may 23, 2014. No other updates. Is it the same for everyone else?
I am wondering how many days does it take to show up the info on online account upon receiving the file number (AOR)?cannonbarrel said:@ _MK_ yeah, I have the same message displayed.
Great. And how long does it take to receive MR after AOR approximately, now? I know that was of order of 2-4 days before (1 year ago approx.).shareview said:7 to 10 days

Is that true. then what happen to us.
thanks air i also had confusion regarding thisaircar said:I am not sure if I understand your question properly, but I think you are asking if you could be sent back home after 4 years of work permit even if you have an application for PR in process. The thing is that according to the temporary foreign worker program (TFWP) you could be as a temporary worker up to 4 years (normally 2+2), but that is applicable to work permits obtained through LMIA, it does not refer to work permits obtained under special agreements ( for ex. International experience Canada or free trade agreements) or other circumstances that do not require LMIA, for instance the bridge work permit, which is normally an open work permit (depending on the case), that you can apply after getting your AOR. The bottom line is that if you already applied for PR and received AOR you could apply for a bridge work permit regardless the 4 years limit. Obviously if you don't apply and your regular work permit expires (4 years) then you have to leave Canada. I recommend you to check the CIC on the TFWP section and read carefully to confirm what I am explaining here.
