I guess now that ON applicants have received AORs, it should be not long before all the applications have identical timelines.

I am on contract job now after i got file number ...i applied under master graduate without job ... will updating this information put my file into doubt?
I heard CIC dont accept contract job..........may be i am silly asking this question

I guess u can wait untill they ask u to send updates on your employment and stuff. there's no harm mentioning though.

Query for Medical:

I have just got my AoR and expecting a MR soon. Is it okay to book a Medical even w/o the MR? That way I can atleast save a week of waiting time. Moreover, I know it has been asked before, but any recommendations on the Clinic in Mississauga mainly?

Congrats for AOR. yes u can book Medical without MR but u can't actually do it without the MR.

Does anyone know if the CPP Ottawa is responsible for our file or is it still CIO Sydney for the MR?

You need MR to do the medical exam, as you need to bring the printed letter with you to the clinic.

Thanks for your sharing. So you applied for PR with your wife as dependent? And you're June applicant ? I wonder maybe single applicant will be processed faster. Actually my application was received in may but AOR is June, 2014. So I don't know if I'm May applicant or June applicanet. I have 2 dependents: My wife and my kid. Both of them are still in my home country. Hope that it will note extend my processing time.

I talked with Call Centre Agent last week and he said files are generally transferred to CPC-Ottawa after Medicals, for PNP stream. and my file was still in CIO-Sydney last week

Those who did their medicals already, when you check ECAS, remember to click on the PR application status link itself. The link on mine still says "Application Received" but when I click on it, it says "Medical results have been received."

yes i am the principle applicant and my wife as dependent.recent cic average time for asking police report and landing fee is around 9 months from the the time they recieved your file so your may applicant i guess , you should be getting your police report and landing fee request soon.let us know once you get bro. all the best
