I was nominated under OPNP. I just went to the Rainbow Bridge border to get the BOWP and I got it on the spot! I got it with an expired PNP certificate and without an AoR for PR application.

Hi ameet747 - are you on the international student with a job offer stream ? Also, for me and those who don't know, what/where is the Rainbow Bridge Border ? thanks a lot.

I got my AOR yesteryday from CIC. Hopefully things are starting to move.
I sent my application mid May 2014 to Sydney NS. I'm applying through Ontario PNP.

did you receive your file number in mail or via e-mail?

I'm in the same situation, would you please say how many days were left from your current work permit when you went to the border? and if any other document you had with you, or if they asked any specific question?

Congrats ;D That is a very good news. It seems that CIC starts working on OPNP applications.

It was an email. Was sent in the evening so they must have an automated process.

I've tried to check my status online using the file number but it's not working yet.
