Hi Everyone,

I was reading this forum and saw the spreadsheet, so I thought to add my info here.

I have sent my PNP (Ontario) application package to Sydney (received 24th July 2014) and has not received my application number (or anything) from CIC yet.
I just received an email from PNP asking me to call them a few days ago, and they asked some questions regarding my employment, address, travels, etc.

From what I can see, there are lots of people in the same status, if you are on the same page, please let us know if there's any update on your application.

Just wondering if they're calling everyone sequentially? Like on 'first come first serve' basis? Do we have anyone whose file got "received" at May 22, 2014 or later, had received a call from OPNP yet? *Raise your hand please*

I am sure that is not the case. i have seen applicants from july,aug getting calls. i am 20th may and no calls. my close friend from july got the call.
P.S They first called applicants who were months away from getting PR after DM, then those who were in process. Lately they are calling those without aor.

Hi All,

I have been an avid reader of this Forum, and specially this post. I am standing under the same Umbrella so I can understand how nervous you all are currently. [Believe me, "this time shall pass."]

CIC, Syndey, NS had received my file on 22 May 2014. I haven't received my AOR neither a QA call lately. I had an year of PGWP, which is expired now and I'm under Implied Status (Raise hands if you're under IMPLIED Status and having difficulties on WP applciation as-well).

I understand that QA was an important part, but this should not affect Work Permit applications. Since, I haven't had my AOR, I had to apply through LMIA-Exemption (OPNP Certificate + Job Contract), but my application has been put on hold for past 3 months and despite for numerous call to CIC, they are still saying that "They can't do anything, and all I can do it wait. And yes, I should expect something SOON."

My question is, how long are we going to wait? What-if they now come and say your file was incomplete or something, Do we have to apply for O-PNP again (Since most likely it will be expired by now)?

Moreover, I wanna know if any one of you guys are having the same problem with Work Permit as-well? For now, WP and Health Cards are my biggest concerns.

I am kinda tired of my waiting PR's AOR for past 6 months now.

I have been also waiting for the AoR for 3months now. I am under OPNP.
My PGWP was also expiring pretty soon, but then someone suggested on this forum for me to do flagpole and get work permit extended there.
I tried there and I was given an 18 months BOWP at the border! It was so easy...so easy that I was surprised! They only checked my PNP certificate and Work permit support letter.
But, if you're work permit has already expired, it might be too late for you.

I sent my OPNP to Sydney, NS in May 20th, 2014, they received in May 27th. So far, NOV 13th, 2014, I haven't received anything back from CIC, not even a confirmation letter!

Is anyone in the same situation??

@rafaeldca this forum is filled with people in similar situation including myself. You are not the only one. Read some of the previous posts on this thread and you would know.
Refer to the document in my signature for more information. You too might want your information to be added to this file. Request for it on this thread and our dear friend @astasi would do it for you.

Rafaeldca..... all or actually mostly people applied after 15 May 2014 has same situation like you .... so don`t worry

FOUR months of waiting and STILL no AOR, response to e-mail inquiries, nothing... Just the mysterious and non-informative ON PNP call. Ugggghhhhhhh :-X

All PNP is same now. Not only OPNP none of the files are moving forward.
