My application was received on 23rd May. They have not called me yet. I am away for a month (going to native place).
Worried what if they are not able to reach me.

My file was received on 25th May. No call for me as well.

Hi All,

I have been an avid reader of this Forum, and specially this post. I am standing under the same Umbrella so I can understand how nervous you all are currently. [Believe me, "this time shall pass."]

CIC, Syndey, NS had received my file on 22 May 2014. I haven't received my AOR neither a QA call lately. I had an year of PGWP, which is expired now and I'm under Implied Status (Raise hands if you're under IMPLIED Status and having difficulties on WP applciation as-well).

I understand that QA was an important part, but this should not affect Work Permit applications. Since, I haven't had my AOR, I had to apply through LMIA-Exemption (OPNP Certificate + Job Contract), but my application has been put on hold for past 3 months and despite for numerous call to CIC, they are still saying that "They can't do anything, and all I can do it wait. And yes, I should expect something SOON."

My question is, how long are we going to wait? What-if they now come and say your file was incomplete or something, Do we have to apply for O-PNP again (Since most likely it will be expired by now)?

Moreover, I wanna know if any one of you guys are having the same problem with Work Permit as-well? For now, WP and Health Cards are my biggest concerns.

I am kinda tired of my waiting PR's AOR for past 6 months now.

I just got a call from PNP Ontario regarding QA. She said all the pnp application submitted to cic have been forwarded to PNP to conduct the QA. And cic is waiting for PNP to finish the QA.

She asked about the mailing address, phone number, email address, employment status etc.

In the end I asked her about the QA program, she said we are calling a majority of applicants. and once you receive a call, you will receive the file number withiin a month.

Received a call from OPNP asking the same bunch of verification questions. The person said that we can expect the file number in 8 weeks. If not, they cant do anything about it and we should contact CIC.

Hi Everyone,

I was reading this forum and saw the spreadsheet, so I thought to add my info here.

I have sent my PNP (Ontario) application package to Sydney (received 24th July 2014) and has not received my application number (or anything) from CIC yet.
I just received an email from PNP asking me to call them a few days ago, and they asked some questions regarding my employment, address, travels, etc.

From what I can see, there are lots of people in the same status, if you are on the same page, please let us know if there's any update on your application.

i had received an email response from cio in september saying that they have the application and going through initial review.

Exactly. I dont know if they ever returned or lost or burned :'(
first got discriminated against other streams and provinces, then august end applicants getting aor. Now many are getting calls except some of us. i m paranoid. Lost faith.

My file was received on 29th july. No calls/email yet. Me too worried :'(

Did she explicitly say once you got a call you could expect the AOR within a month or are you assuming it? If she said so then that might be a good news however I have no idea what to trust and what not to at this point.

Don't worry about it guys, I think it's not essential to get the calls.
