Dear members of this forum ,I do have one question ,its about validity PCC .I am currently residing in India ,I did a Med,prepared RPRF ,but in case of PCC ,I did have a four month old PCC and when I want to update it,the police officer told me no need to update and tell me to submit this. But on the PCC it says valid three month ,Should I have to submit it like this .I have also another PCC from my country in 2013,should I have to submit this original PCC since I didn't went to my country for the last two years. What shall I do? the dead line for the submission of all documents is near by.Urgent reply is in need .
Thanks.

Hi

Can you please tell me if CIC returns a file, do you receive it by regular mail in the self addressed envelopes that were included in the package or through courier or to the mailing company such as Canada Post.

My application was recd by 17 July and i havent recd any call from OPNP or AOR. Just wondering in case my file was returned and the returned file is lost somewhere and i dont know about it :(

CIC doesn't specify about the validity of the PCC. It depends on the country, as most of the PCC are valid for 1 year and it should reach CIC before 3months.

Dear AMAM
what option do i have ,should i send the PCC from my country which is more than one year, hence i didn't return for more than two years to my country and its difficult for me to due to shortage of time.Pls elaborate it well, should i submit it .

as far as i know cic accepts pcc which is made 1 year less but if you have a pcc which is more then two years old then i would suggest you to make a new one .rather then taking a risk .if cic wont accept then you have to make a new one again .

My application was received on 23rd May. They have not called me yet. I am away for a month (going to native place).
Worried what if they are not able to reach me.
