What is the status of your application? Can you kindly share your Ecas lines?

Hi Guys,

I called CIC today and spoke to my lawyer. Basically, Canada's #1 priority is to process refugee applications as they are dealing with a life threatening situation. #2 priority is to process express entry applicants within 6 months. I was advised to apply for my Open Work permit as there is no timeline guarantee for Economic Class applicants. 15 month processing timeline that is listed on the site could and is subject to change at anytime. From the sound of it all, it looks like our Decision made and PPR statuses won't happen until Jan-Feb. This is beyond frustrating and I have decided to stop giving a damn about this situation. I applied for my OWP already and just hope that gets here before my current one expires (expires in Feb).

I need some help. Below is my time line.

SINP inland application (International Skilled worker)
Application sent on June 3, 2015
AOR received August 14, 2015
No updates after that.
My 3 post graduate work permit expires in March 2016.

I want to know, what if I do not renew my work permit. Can I go back home while my application is in process?

Thank you in advance for any feedback and inputs.

Hey there

If you don't have any value for human lives, then its better to shut up and suck it. You should be thankful that you're not in the same position as they are. Have some dignity and respect for human lives. All humans bleed the same red blood, regardless of race, colour, ethnicity or religion. The refugees are fleeing a dangerous country. They have not become refugees by choice. They have been forced to run in order to save their lives and the lives of their children, to have peace and tranquility and to build a future.

Hello all,

My dilemma is, I have been nominated for NSNP and the NOC is 2131 on my letter. This was the code
I selected when i filled the application form in January, because I have a BEng in this occupation and didn't know what I know now.
Afterwards I learnt that people were getting rejected because they select NOC that does not match their experience,
by then it was too late for me to change the NOC code in the application. NOC 2231 match my experience more and I more qualified in this category; although I have done a couple of the duties under NOC 2131. Now, when I make the application to CIC, should I select NOC 2231
that fit my experience more? or stick with NOC 2131, in which I have less experience?

Please help

HEY GUYS,
today's news was about the government delay the dates of bring in all 25000 refugees to the end of Feb, does that mean, they will exclusively work
on that huge project till that time? and our applications will be put aside or I mean, extremely slow till then?
