Hi znarfier, yes mine is online, through express entry.

Before we pressed the send button, we ran through the list of requirements again hoping we never missed any item to attach. Only in the morning after waking up then I realized how come they never asked for the nomination letter to be provided. So meaning requirements are different for paper-based and express entry?

Updated my SIN today and submitting my new SIN to job and CRA

hi jstar1 and seniors,i've submitted my passport, photos and copy of the email to CPC-Ottawa last Feb. 15. Also, i have sent an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca last Feb. 12 to assist/guide my husband (Email subject:Application No. EPxxxxxxxx - Ready for Visa and Passport Request for My Spouse Outside Canada). the body includes the full personal details of my spouse (name, address abroad, email, DOB). Til now i have not receive any reply. Do you think it's about time to send the reminder or follow-up email? How to do the follow-up and the contents? Do i have to forward to them the same email? Thanks.

I got to the border at 9pm MST. Both American and Canadian sides were empty. I read Caraway people are rude and they have turned people away in the past because they don't technically have immigration office at the border but many people land/flagpole there as well. Check out the CBSA website.

They are both 3 hours from Calgary so if you are just going and coming back, I would recommend Coutts.

Congrats man. The pain is over. Looks like your landing was smooth. My landing experience was funny. Canadian officer worked like a machine. He just signed the CORP documents and return one copy to me. Then he said- brb. After 10 min he came back and said, I quote-"Done. Go home". No smile, didn't read PR rights, didn't tell me anything about the PR card, totally nothing. lol

Btw, did you change your SIN number? Besides the copy of the CORP, did the officer give you anything else? Also, did your ecas changes? Mine is still saying decision made.

i got only one copr back nothing else but i got my updated new 6 series number.

My eCas still showing 5 lines with the last line is - medical results received.
I did my landing on 21st February. Do you think it will be updated in the Service Canada system so that I can go and get my new SIN number?

ya sure go anytime. they will update immediately and will give new 6 series number.
Ecas is not a trustworthy system as i observed. they some time update time to time some time very late

Thanks man. I think I will go to Service Canada to change my SIN within a day or two.
Do you know what will be out status on eCas? I meant after decision made?

I just received a letter requesting for additional documents. one is schedule 4 and the other is 8 numbers followed by my name, which after trying to figure out what that is, turns out to be my UCI no.

can you advice me if there is any document pertaining to UCI no? Initially I was thinking it might just be to indicate my UCI no but:
- on top of the letter, my UCI no is already indicated so I had second thoughts that this is just for info
- and they have stated "documents" in the requirement where one is sched 4. so I assume they require something from the UCI no?

greatly appreciate your advice.

Unless we see the exact statements mentioned in that letter its difficult to comment. You can mark * in all UCI and names & other personal info then copy & paste the content here to suggest something.

Looks like yours is EE hence we might not know the format of document they send to EE applicants.

The UCI is the Unique Client Identifier number... it is on ur study permit or work permit or ur visitor record document.

Thanks bud. Ya, my officer was half friendly and explained me my rights and what comes after this. I am going to apply for my Health card and SIN on Thursday. Just COPR copy and a information sheet about how to change SIN, Health card, when can you apply for citizenship, etc. General crap that we already know. I didn't get any flag or welcome to canada. He wasn't as excited as I was. I don't even care at this point. Just want my PR card in 39 days so I can go to Australia. I need a nice and warm vacation soon after going through this process.

Hey Max are you going off the 39 days from the website or did your officer say it was 39 days..
