Good one maxy!maxy81 said:Should be tomorrow. CIC is just super unorganized. I am thinking of joining politics after I am citizen and becoming the Minister of Immigration one day. Someone has to clean this mess up right?
Hello there angel0815!angel0815 said:Hi! Greatly appreciate your expert advice and help.
I sent my PR application and received my AOR yesterday but now I thought, why the system did not require for the copy of my Provincial Nomination Letter though I indicated I have one. Now this worries me.
A friend in the forum advised me to send the nomination letter through CSE though she is not sure if this is required.
Hope anyone in the same situation can advice me.
Should I have proactively attached the Provincial Nomination Letter even if it was not asked or is CIC suppose to ask it afterwards? Should I proceed on sending it through CSE?

Did you apply online? Well, I am a paper-based applicant and in the "DOCUMENT CHECKLIST" for paper based application (provincial nominees), item no. 11 is about the "Confirmation of Nomination".

Such a clever person go North! Well, CIC might have over-looked and will request for it in the future, coz I believe that th enomination letter is the key to CIC stage.go north said:Hi znarfier,
I am just wondering. Why was there an AOR when the Confirmation of Nomination was not included in the application package?
... I thought CIC is checking the application file if complete prior to AOR...
... Good luck to all of us ...
I used representative and they did not enclose the Nomination letter (I still keep it in hand). I have got AOR, medical. My GCMS notes also shows Nomination Letter details (number, date of expiry, province, etc.)angel0815 said:Hi! Greatly appreciate your expert advice and help.

htokyo, thanks for your input! I appreciate it. ;D ;Dhtokyo said:I used representative and they did not enclose the Nomination letter (I still keep it in hand). I have got AOR, medical. My GCMS notes also shows Nomination Letter details (number, date of expiry, province, etc.)
My representative advised that the province also sends a list of nominees together with nomination letter details to CIC
So, I think you should not worry about that

Hello go north,go north said:Hi znarfer,
I'm just trying to stitch the different informations that I read from this forum and other Canadian immigration sites... just conventional thinking....
And YES, I did include my confirmation of nomination with my application package because that's what the checklist says and requires...
.. Although, I do remember writing the Prov./Terr. Referrence #, Nomination Certificate # and the date of Nomination Expiry in one or two of the CIC forms. This is probably what htokyo's representative did to merit AOR even without the copy... I guess it really depends on the CIO officer...
I now perceive that receiving CIO's AOR doesn't mean that thorough checks were done on submitted documents... even if they say in their email that they are complete...
... I can't be complacent - they may ask for additional information or documents later on... like the experience of some who were ahead of us...
... Good luck to all of us ...
I agree... it really depends on the officer assessing the app. I have read one applicant received her application back due to a missing signature while another missing info can be requested via email without sending the application back.go north said:Hi znarfer,
