Hi Everyone, I landed yesterday at the Coutts border. I only took the necessary documents that they request and it all worked out. Please don't panic or waste your time taking your entire life paperwork at the border. All they want is, Passport, COPR, Current work permit/implied status proof, and old work permits. That is it.
Drove across the US border, got the refusal letter...This took 15 minutes. Drove around back to Canada. Empty border on a Saturday night. Officer stamped COPR, we both signed, asked the typical questions about (bringing anything from US, committed a crime, etc?) he read me my rights as a PR and that was it. Another 15 minutes. They said 4-6 weeks for PR card. I said website says 105 days. He is like go with what the website says as CBSA and CIC department don't really talk to each other much about these things. They are separate departments.
