Which one is your visa office?
If you ask me, it is Sydney, NS.

hello guys

I hv applied for Pr through EE on 19th jan 2016 after getting SINP nomination on 25th dec 2015 & ITA on 6th jan 2016. Then I hv submit the schedule 4 form on 22nd jan. the last status update was on 30th jan 2016 showing medical status passed. And then no update till date.

Is everything all right or how much more time it will take.

Can anyone suggest me what would be the next update after this and related to what?

And the status on more documents needed is provided. What it exactly means?

How would one can know about his visa office ? I mean which visa office is processing my application.

Please add me in some SINP whatsapp group.

This section is for paper based applications by Provincial nominees. So it'd be best for you if you connect with EE nominees in here - http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/express-entry-expression-of-interest-b54.0/

Secondly, a sincere advise - do not share your phone # in a public forum like this. With the advancements in technology, you know what can be done when your cell # falls into wrong hands right? If not, please google.

best wishes.

Hi Everyone, I landed yesterday at the Coutts border. I only took the necessary documents that they request and it all worked out. Please don't panic or waste your time taking your entire life paperwork at the border. All they want is, Passport, COPR, Current work permit/implied status proof, and old work permits. That is it.

Drove across the US border, got the refusal letter...This took 15 minutes. Drove around back to Canada. Empty border on a Saturday night. Officer stamped COPR, we both signed, asked the typical questions about (bringing anything from US, committed a crime, etc?) he read me my rights as a PR and that was it. Another 15 minutes. They said 4-6 weeks for PR card. I said website says 105 days. He is like go with what the website says as CBSA and CIC department don't really talk to each other much about these things. They are separate departments.

Congrats maxy81 for officially becoming the Permanent Resident of Canada.
Check this out for processing time for PR cards. It's been a week the processing time came down to 39 instead of 105 days.
I hope this will make you much happier now :D

OMG. I just saw that. It changed to 39 days. How the hell is that possible. From 105 days to 39 days. That changes my vacation plans and makes me very happy. I hope this is not an error.

Thank you Gagan

I am going this Wednesday. I am thinking of going to CARWAY instead of COUTTS as CARWAY is closer.
What would you suggest?

Thanks

I got to the border at 9pm MST. Both American and Canadian sides were empty. I read Caraway people are rude and they have turned people away in the past because they don't technically have immigration office at the border but many people land/flagpole there as well. Check out the CBSA website.

They are both 3 hours from Calgary so if you are just going and coming back, I would recommend Coutts.

Thanks Man,
That helps a ton. COUTTS it is then.
I already have US Visiting Visa so they are not gonna reject the entry so i just go across the border and come back?

Thanks

Landed niagara border (rainbow bridge). Just 10 mins procedure.

Only docs they asked are COPR
