That's fine. She needs to include a detailed letter of explanation explaining how you will support yourselves.

As in a separate letter from the application, or should she put it in the box at the bottom of the application where it asks "Is there any more information you wish to share to support your relationship?"

By the way, thank you so much for being so extremely helpful. You have actually made this process less stressful on us both and we greatly appreciate that because we have also been working like crazy to get our house ready to sell.

As in the letter required on the checklist, Supporting Documents for Sponsor - Point 5.

Ok thank you , and the certificate number they ask for is the one on their birth certificate if they were born in Canada correct?

What requirement are you referring to?

When it refers to how the person obtained citizenship, in this case it is for our daughters citizenship application.

The part of the application is for her mother, and it is asking how her mother became a citizen, i put down by birth, it asks for the date, i put her birthday, then it asks for the Canadian Certificate No.

And also, since she is only 4 years old will our family insurance card that has all of our names on it suffice as a form of identification? It asks for 2 and she has a passport, or should we use her Aquarium ID since it also has her photo on it?

I would guess it refers to a Certificate of Citizenship number, which she wouldn't have if born in Canada.

Ok i pretty much have her stuff all taken care of, now i am trying to get mine taken care of.

For the police certificate does it matter where i get my fingerprints taken?

I don't think it matters.

Ok so I am finally wrapping up a lot of the paperwork. I am just wanting to clarify a few things. We are about to list our house here in the US to sell, houses in our neighborhood tend to sell in less than 1 months so we will likely be moving in May or June. If we are not living in the address listed on all the forms anymore that is not going to matter? Not even for the Police Certificate? I am sending off the forms for that today and that is supposed to take up to 14 weeks to process.

While this is all processing i can still be living in Canada correct?

You will update your address as soon as you move.

What takes 14 weeks?

No, you aren't allowed to live in Canada during the process. You do not yet have that right. You can enter as a visitor to be with your family while the app processes.

What takes 14 weeks? - the process to get the information for the Police Certificate for my application. I am going to continue to work for my current employer once we move so being in Canada as a visitor will not be an issue. Do I have to wait to buy a house until the app processes?

If you are referring to the FBI cert, apply through a channeller and get it in a week or two.

You can buy a house whenever you want.

What about taxes, I am going to be working for a us company while living in Canada. What kind of taxes am I going to have to he paying?
