Family Class Outland Sponsorship: Remote Work Question on IMM5669 Personal History

Hello! My partner and I are going to be getting married soon, and we've started going through the paperwork, just so we are prepared with the process. I've went fairly extensively through all the paperwork questions and required documents.

I have a unique work history where I've worked as a tutor for multiple remote companies. I had a couple questions about that:

1) For imm5669 under personal history, what do you put for city/town of remote jobs? Can I put Remote USA if it is a US-based company that I worked remotely for? OR Should I put the city where the majority of the work was conducted in? OR should I put the city/town of where the business is located?

I could not find any specific information on addressing remote work.

If multiple companies are involved, list each separately with their respective headquarter locations.


If you were physically residing in a different location during the job, make sure that aligns with the address history you provide elsewhere on the application.


Also, it never hurts to add a small note or letter of explanation with the application, briefly clarifying that the jobs were remote and listing the companies and your physical location at the time.

Need guidance regarding filling out the outland spousal application. During the filling IMM5669. It is asking for fill out Schedule A. I am confused what to include in this. My spousal is a doctor and worked as a government employe for 1 year, and now she is doing her training in general surgery in government hospital. Do I need to include that in government position section or it is only who those who worked as civil servants or judges?

fill it as stated. She worked for the government. It doesn't need to be an "important" position.
