Hello Fellows,

I have a question about the labeling of photos which CHC is asking to share as evidence of relationship.

How should we label them? I mean should we write on the front side of the photos, or on the back side or we paste sticky paper labels.
I am looking assitance from the seniors who already gone throgh this requirement.

Thanks to the fellows of this forum as they are always helping.

Is it true that the Visa Officers can see how many times we check the e-cas? A friend told me that CIC doesn't like it if you check it too often. Now, it may be possible that they see how many times we check the ecas, but it would depend on the visa officer whether he or she would get agitated about it or not. I would still check everyday, but just thought to share this with you guys.

LOL if thats the case, each and every applicant would have been screwed :P.. Because some people not only check once a day but thrice a day too! :P..

no offense to you or your friend but that's the stupidest thing i heard all day. maybe he meant the gcms notes which actually would make a bit more sense as they have to do some work to provide you with the status. the online accounts no one cares how many times you check since all you are doing is just logging on their database.

ha...ha Good joke ;)

seriously, e-Cas is offline system that every night database copy if offloaded into e-Cas servers. The visa officers see & access realtime database & any changes as well access in logged in. Where as what you see in eCas is updated at least day before & some updates takes place once a week (Tuesday).

I hope this helps.

Noo if u were dependent A when the application was filed, u wont be asked proof of continuous studies ; It's just applicable to Dependent B (Over 22 years of age at the time of application filed) ..So u dont need to worry about it..

Hi to Everyone,

My in-laws e-cas status changed to "Decision Made" on June 24. Till date no communication recieved from CPP-O. Anybody with same experience?

Please share your experience.

How long after your file gets transferred to Vienna do medicals take? I've been waiting a year and they still havent requested medicals yet.
For us the medicals were requested soon after the transfer, but then nothing happened. Got COPR only about 3 weeks before the medicals expired. It is my sense that Vienna is quite overloaded, perhaps because some other European visa offices were consolidated there about a year ago.
good luck!

Did all your processing happen in Ottawa and passports submitted to ND?

Hi,
Yes, our case was processed at CPP-O since beginning. However, no passport request yet. That is why I am concerned.
