From what I know (my case as well) the decision made status is happening at Ottawa as they are happy with your file. They change status, recommend visa and transfer file to ND who then requests the passports. New Delhi is where all the delays are, they should ask you passport soon, but don't expect your status messages to work like others who gets processing done through ND for most part.

In those cases in ND, decision made status comes up when they have stamped your passport with visa unlike CPP-O for reasons I mentioned above.

I requested an update on my file through the MP's office. They informed me that CPP-O has sent a letter to the Sponsor on June 19th, which we (as a sponsor) never received. To the best of my knowledge, this type of letter especially about "Decision Made" is typically sent to PA not the sponsor. Therefore, I assume that CPP-O has sent a letter to my in-laws rather than me.

He also mentioned that now our file will be transferred to ND with the recommendation of Visa and we should not expect a ppt request prior to August 19th. Honestly, I don't understand why they need 2 months time for PPT request once the desion has already been made.

havn't tried a call but did send panic emails with urgent subject.

The MP came back that due to strike process is slow. Latest GCMS notes show no movement recently.

Assessment section shows this:
Eligibility : Passed
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed
Final: Passed

how long after medical, pcc and passport request do pos stamp visa do they have a certain time frame to keep ur passport also is background check done before or after medical request
