It depends upon the Visa office handling your file , Sounds like CPP-Ottawa, Delhi VO usually ask medical and PP at the same time .

Thanks cobweb,

You are right the VO now in CPP-O (before it was Buffalo, NY which is now closed and moved to CPP-O), most of the comments from this room are from Asia and I am Asian too but my parents are US citizen. So far as I knew, it takes less time in US then any other country but it was my wrong concept. Now we are passing 1561 days or 4.27 years, which is really long procedure and it seems never ending ... for those reasons I was asking the advice from you guys.

eCAS Updated:

PR Application in eCAS - "In Process" @ March 25, 2013. (LVO)

LVO asked for "Personal History" for mom and dad since they attained 18 yrs age. In the IMM5669 (Schedule A), my parents had only supplied past 10 years as per the forms, but CIC wants it since age 18.

Hope this helps other applicants, please make sure you tell them everything since age 18 years. If you don't, they will ask for it anyway.
No documents asked but they just wanted details of activities since age 18 for both parents.

Hope to get medical request soon.

ordered gcms notes through email today. when should i expect an email from them with the requested information?

Hello Experts,

I am a PR living in Toronto for the past one year. I need to file PR for my parents who live in India. Can anyone share their experience who have applied for the same earlier. I need to know what documents will be required for the application, what docs my parents need for the PR and what is the time limit for the visa to come. Any help will be highly appreciated.

PR sponsorship is on pause till Nov 2013, keep checking www.cic.gc.ca for changes. Meanwhile, you can invite them on Supervisa which will allow them to stay upto 2 years

CIC is using GCMS (Global Case Management System) to process all cases now. Even at overseas offices.

So people should wisen up and stop using these terms such as B'FD, etc.

These old terms were used in the old system, the new GCMS does not use these.
