Can anyone tell what all documents are required for parents immigration so that I will start making arrangements for them and when the application window opens, we will be ready with everything required for the application.
Go on CIC website, and check the forms such as:
IMM008 (generic form)
IMM5669 (schedule A- background declaration)
IMM5406 (additional family information)
Try filling them out, obtain missing info, etc.
Parents even have to list the names/date of birth, addresses, etc of their parents and siblings, sometimes its a pain to ask relatives for this info so try to obtain if possible.....some people get suspicious if their bros/sisters ask for their DOB, etc.
Have them compile/write down their Activity, Addresses and Employment info since age of 18 years. (as per form IMM5669)
Have them obtain police certificates for all places where they lived for more than 6 months, each country if appliable.
Have them obtain passports and ID Cards, etc.
Anything not in english should be translated......
Nobody knows the new rules but this is usually what CIC will want anyways.
