No one knows the new rules yet

You basically need to meet LICO ( Google low income cut off table ) - but that might change with higher numbers, no criminal background or declared bankruptcy - everything else is straight forward with forms, its just that CIC will probably implement new rules for Parents Sponsorship

So what is the benifit for gcms yo us?????????

Gives file status, info what was sent, what was received, info if meds were received, criminal/background checks, address, fees info etc
If it wasn't for GCMS, some of us wouldn't have found out where our file is

From what i have heard email is the fastest. File# is not = UCI#. my file number starts with an F, yours could be the one with the B.

Backgrd, Criminality, Documents checklist - Birth certi and which proving ur relationship wth ur mom..

Its not about his relationship, its brother to mother so they both have to go for DNA testing in India, from what I hear it does peg down the processing time, quite a few threads on this site - just google or search or ask in main thread about DNA testing

same situation in our case ........we got this letter last month after medicals done in october .........it is realy frustating........it may take around 5-6 mnths to whole process very long it is.........
my sponser sister gave sample in canda on 12th feb....aftr that no appointmnt for us by newdelhi office for ..........waiting game is on.......
