Hello Everyone!

I know its premature but I applied for sponsorship for my parents in September 2011 and havn't received any sort of acknowledgement from CIC confirming that they have received my application. Should I be worried or is this routine?

I've also been checking the status of the application online hoping the status would read "Application received" but the search on the Receipt number does not yield any results.

Ayone else in the same boat as me? Crossing my fingers!

xyrus: Have you tried to look up using your Client ID? I also suggest that you call CPC-Mississauga and ask about status of your application. You should have at least received letter confirming receipt of application. Take care.

For the longest time, it said "Application Received" under the Sponsorship Application Status for me.

A week ago, the "Application Received" appeared under both sponsorship AND the PR application status.

Does yours have a Decision made under sponsorship and aplication received under the PR part?

When did you notice the changes?

I noticed it when I check it on Tuesday, Jan 8, 2010, that it was decision made under sponsorship. I don't remember seeing the PR application column before. And now, they added my grandma's name as well. I sponsor my parents and my grandma, before only my dad's name was showing.

This is the first time, I didn't know the result before the on line status changed.

xyrus: I am also in same boat as you applied in June 2011 and no acknowledgement. Nothing shows up on line. I do not know what we should do.

Hello friends!

2013 had a good start for me and my family. We reached the end of our process! Tuesday ecas showed DECISION MADE and today they called our house and requested our passports and said that once we deliver (we'll go there Monday), it takes no more than 10 days to get it back.

After almost 5 years of waiting, looks like we'll be reunited with my brother on Family Day

I've heard from many others who applied in 2011 did not receive AOR...there is nothing to worry.

Cgill you know that client id is your PR card no. right?
