congrats ,i dont know how ND working on files ,u got medical request on nov 26 and decision has been made ,mine was before you i got medical request on nov 08 and sent on nov 27 and still appplication received ,some peoples got medical request before me and still waiting for decision and some peoples who applied before you didnt get medical request yet, its tricky to understand the processing of LVO-ND.

I did call CIC and they had no updates for me. They told me to check online which I have been doing constantly from the time I have applied. Per Online status - Under parents and grand parents category - it states " working on issuing acknowledgements for applications received on April 29, 2011. >> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

I tried my Client ID as well but it did not yield any results.

Thanks again for your prompt responses. Good luck to all of us. Unfortunately I sent the application package using regular post so I don't have proof of receipt by CPC-M. I do have Canada Post purchase receipt but that does won't suffice.

Same here, got medical and ppt request from ND on NOv 8th and everything was done and mailed by Nov 30th, still the ecas shows "Application Received on June 2008"

Your daughter XXXXXX BORN NOV 1984 was over 22 years of age when an undertaking of assistance was submitted on your behalf at the case processing center in mississaugaon 7 april 2008.

information on your application indicates that after completing a BA course and doing a PGDCA and M.SC IN COMPUTER SCIENCE from college (affiliated to GNDU university) and my sister enrolled MA english course.She failed twice this course,she abandoned it and enrolled in a MA History course.it appears she was not actively pursuing this course.it is alsonoted that she has consistently changed her subjects, from computer sciences to english and then to history

This suggests that since attaining 22 years of age XXXXXX is not actively pursuing a course of academic,professional or vocational training and thereforedoes not meet the definition of a dependent child.

Given the foregoing ,i must conclude that xxxxxxxx is not a dependtant child as defined in section 2 of the immigration and refugee act.
Before a decision is made in your case, i am providing you with the opportunity to comment on the above concerns or provide any observation or explanation in writing. You have 30 days from the date of this letter to reply.

I suggest you consult an immigration lawyer. Seems like the concern from the visa officer is not the gap but rather the fact that she was enrolled in all these courses just to stay dependent for immigration purposes.

Thanx Kandel....I also went to MPs office and they gave me a form to be signed by me and the principal applicant...it is to get consent of both parties...which I will do and go back this week and post my update on it...Thanx once again

Only one thing comes into my mind is Visa Officer's pace (guess) and Veeru did you send update to Newdelhi regarding your baby?
