I got email from cpp ottawa Just now for Passport submission to New Delhi through VFS or Directly.
but my mother is in Canada on Super Visa.
what should I do ?
should I reply the email requesting the change in Instructions or should send passport to India through someone for submission.

My timeline is (if somebody can put in spreadsheet

Passport Request December 13,2012

You can email CPP-O informing that your mother is currently residing in Canada on Super Visa and requesting them to change visa office from ND to Seattle for visa stamping. They will reply back in 2-3 days and change the visa office to Seattle. I did the same........

Gaggi thanks bro...about caips notes i have already faxed them ND a request letter. Dont want them to get mad at me...i think i wil wait until january. Otherwise i will def order caips or gcms...talking about notes which one is better caips or gcms?
and gaggi one more question do they need pcc for everyone my papa,mom and brother? how long does it take to get pcc once we apply?

gcms is better from my point of view.pcc is needed for everyone it took only 10 days to get pcc.

Hello all,

My parents application status changed to "decision made" last week. At that time I noticed that they were showing a Canadian address (wrong address) under your home address and my parents Indian address as their mailing address. I tried to correct the Canadian address and clicked the box for " my mailing address is same as my home address thinking I was updating their Canadian mailing address. The problem is now both addresses are showing our Canadian address.

Do you guys think it will create problem when CIC will mail the decision letter to my parents. The new address started showing yesterday whereas the status changed to decision made on Dec 03. I already emailed CIC about this. I wanted to ask you guys how long does it take for CIC to mail their decision letter if they have passports already. I am hoping they mailed their decision before they changed the addresses. Any feedback
would be much appreciated.

Hello Friends
Just wanted to update you all regarding the timeline. I will not be adding any update to our old timeline due to lack of communication and support from the owner of that timeline.Some of you guys are gone already and others are very close to receive visas.
We have always treated each other as our second family and this is the only reason i had come this far with updating timeline. Believe me guys i have already pushed the limits of my compromisation just for you guys.
As you all know that no one is getting paid and no one is that free here to keep timeline up to date, Its all because of your love and support and i do it just to feel smile on your faces.
"I felt like that i worked 24/7 for my boss and now that he has become millionaire he fired me"
It was very sad. First i decided to never check timeline but then i realized that i cant just leave you guys cuz of someone else's fault.
But i also could not update that timeline anymore, its like entering someone's house where you are not welcome anymore.
So i have made new timeline...Ofcourse it was hard for me but nothing is impossible in this World.

Only i have access to this spreadsheet you guys can just post here and i will update your info in this spreadsheet.
I choose not to have new information sheet as very few ppl were using it.
Spreadsheet is as follows- LVO'S according to your date of application.
CPP-O'S according to your date of application.
Approved cases are there too in between so we can check and compare our timeline.
Cases without any new changes at very end.
This way its easier for old and new members to follow. Same link is in my signature also. I would request you all to put this link in your signature aswell.

Hello veeru, Thanks, yes I do have dependents and and my Status changed directly from Application received to DECISION Made and i sent Docs 11/26 and after a week so they update to medical result have been received but Status was still the same until this week. so you don't worry On Monday Dec 17th your status will be updated i am preety sure. My one relative having same situation as you because they sent Docs a week later than me. So Dont Worry and Please keep us updated and I am sure you will hear good news next week.

Hi the online address change process is applicable only tocthose applications that are beng processed in Canada. If your parents application are in a different country, then cic would not make this change to to physical file of your parents. The mailing address on the file would be considered as current. I had done soething si.ilar but in the earlier stage of applicatkon. I sent an email - casespecfic inquiry and told them about the same. They replied saying that for applications outside canada the only way to change the address is by providing a written request. Hope that helps
