I got email from cpp ottawa Just now for Passport submission to New Delhi through VFS or Directly.
but my mother is in Canada on Super Visa.
what should I do ?
should I reply the email requesting the change in Instructions or should send passport to India through someone for submission.

My timeline is (if somebody can put in spreadsheet

Medical Request July 12,2012

If someone is going right now then you should just send your passort with them. why wait? All this emailing might delay ur case.

Lattim you can do flaf-poling for ur mum....this is what i found for more info read Moraine's old posts. Her parents were also visiting her when they got visa.

Flag-poling for permanent resident is exiting Canada without US visa. If you are temporary resident in Canada and you received pr visa while you are in Canada, you must exit Canada and return as landed immigrant. The easiest and fastest way is to go to the US. According to the CIC agent yesterday, the US officers are aware of it and just tell them that you are "flag-poling" for permanent resident. We were all uncertain when we went to the border as we all know some CIC agents are somewhat unreliable LOL, but we just did what the CIC agent told us and trusted God will our hearts and minds. After I mentioned "flag-poling," the American officer did not say anything until after scanning our passports and then he showed us what to do and where to go (polite and accommodating) and the whole thing was just less than an hour (long line up/waiting in both borders included). I hope this explained "flag-poling" I am not really familiar with this until just yesterday.

Hi nav, when u check e-cas, does it show two addresses, I mean mailing and home address or just mailing has changed to home address.....because in my case it was showing my canada one before but now has changed to my parents home address.....but there are no two different addresses.....it's only says current mailing address which shows my parents address....

Hi there, I hope someone could help me to understand what else to expect. I am in the process of sponsoring my parents from Azerbaijan. I was approved as a sponsor, and the files were transferred to Ankara, Turkey in March 2012. Days ago I got a letter request from embassy to send embassy the police certificates for my parents. Sy my question is, what will be next (after I provide the papers)? Are medical exams mandatory and will be the next step? Or it could actually finalize without it? my parents are 56 and 58 years old.

What confused me was the letter from embassy saying "in order to finalize processing of the application, we need the [police certificates". does it mean, no medical exams expected? Hope did not confuse you!..

yes, medical exam is mandatory... usually request for police certificate comes at the same time as medicals request....

Email CPP-O for request to send PP to Seattle, rajmalhotra - user here had similar situation and they did it for him He sent PP to Seattle, then do flag poling once u get PP back

You don't need to send PP to India, as ur file was in CPP-O and they let u transfer unlike LVO which doesnt let you do it

Thanks a lot!! I thought so too and was surprised when only got request for policy certificates only. Anyone dealt with Ankara embassy in Turkey? Maybe that is how they do it.. step by step..

Gaggi thanks bro...about caips notes i have already faxed them ND a request letter. Dont want them to get mad at me...i think i wil wait until january. Otherwise i will def order caips or gcms...talking about notes which one is better caips or gcms?
and gaggi one more question do they need pcc for everyone my papa,mom and brother? how long does it take to get pcc once we apply?

Anyone over 18, u should ask them to get PCC asap so it doesnt delay it
