hi sandy im sponsoring my dad and family from syria , the waiting is so hard especially that there is a war in syria
and the situation is horrible , i wrote to them last Dec explaining the situation they have'nt respond , then feb i wrote again saying that e cas is
not working and dont know if they received med or not and is our file still in ottawa or its in amman (even thougth i know its in cpp some people told me that because of syria situation they might transfer the file to amman lvo ) , in mar the Dm conacted my father asking for more tests ,two weeks ago cpp-o sent me an email for the first time telling me that they have the meds and the file is in cppo nothing more . lets see

DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY KEPT PASSPORT FOR SO LONG ??????? THERE SHOULD BE LAW FOR THIS ALSO NO EMBASSY CAN KEEP YOUR PASSPORT MORE THEN 90 DAYS...........

same here, still waiting - applied in Dec 2007, med done Oct 2012, PP sent to ND 1st week of Nov!!!!! we should start a petition and raise our voice. These Visa officers are enjoying their life and just dont realize through what pain we and our parents are going through with this unacceptable delay.
we should start a petition and get it signed by as many people to resolve this issue. There is no point waiting endlessly for visa. Here is the link to start petition -

My E-Cas shows they started the process on Dec/07/2012.
But haven't requested the medical done yet!
Is that normal?
I should have heard something from them by now.
It's almost 6 months.

Frankly, I am very surprised by your case, we had 2008 dependents case done and your single mother case is still pending

Yes, So Frustrating!!! So discrimination !!! Waiting since Sept. 2007. no change on e-cas. Just "Application received".
