Not me. I received the letter for re-meds via snail-mail at my address in CA (for sputum tests). LVO did not send the ppts back with it.

OK, was just trying to see if they did for my PCC case, you must have read what I posted earlier. It seems to be the officer put the comment in error
BTW, did your mother had any issues as far as identity was concerned? she presented pp copy for re meds?

My mom did not face any issue with identity as she had made more than a couple of trips for tests relating to this immigration. CIC had just mentioned to take the letter to the doctor, without the need for anything else. I guessed, since they sent the letter to me (outside India), they could not include the ppts.

So you are rep and got the request letter here, but technically if they were to send PP - it would be home address, normally they say take photocopy of PP in case for re-meds and read many post where DMP insist original PP and people have to request for it and/or some cases, they sent it with the request letter

My concern was if they were to ask PCC and intended to send me PP, would't they have done it in the same letter? I am trying to clear the fact that ND never returned our PP as we only received letter for FBI and they assumed that either a photocopy of PP or drivers license would be enough to get it. I didn't have to face any of it as I had it ready before hand

Yes you are correct. They sent the letter to me because I am the rep. I heard quite a few cases where the letter was sent to the "residential address" and not "mailing" for re-meds, hence I was surprised to receive the letter here. There was no mention of taking ppt (whether photocopy or original) to take it to the doctor. They just mentioned contact doctor and give them the letter. The front page was the letter from CIC to my mom and behind it was a letter addressed to the doctor.

I am not familiar with the process of getting a pcc from fbi. If original ppt is a requirement to get the pcc, then CIC would have had to send the ppt to you. Luckily you did not have to face it.

HI friends:
Could someone please make comment or suggestion for me.I got a letter today from NewDelhi for my mother, that they were not satisfied about ourParent-child relationship so they ask me for DNA test. My mother is in SouthIndia so do she has to go to NewDelhi for Blood sample after I choose an labroratoy from Canada.
Do anyone have same situation. Please tell me
Thank you

Here's a link that may help you. Section 5 deals with DNA testing. It seems, the samples needs to be collected before a visa officer. Not sure if this would be applicable...

for my mom in law's re med, we got email first n then couple of days later we recvd snail mail with passport n Pcc request ( we still wonder y they didn't ask for everything in same letter). for dmp (in Punjab), they asked for original passport if u don't hv aadhar card or driver licence. But if u hv any other photo I'd then u can take photocopy of pp.

Its basically identification for the fingerprint agency, could be drivers license or any other to confirm identity. FBI is only concerned with fingerprint card and who took it
