But when I called CIC today, I was told their was 2 applications, one was closed & other still in progress. Not sure what she meant, she never explained ( I don't think she knew what she was saying... ) & also said they only see CPC-M not CPC-O information. My CPC-M was approved in April 2012.

You must be wondering that as per your timeline, you should have got it way before the rest and yet this paperwork is getting messier

I can feel the frustration, going through the same - even GCMS notes is taking time, last time it was 30 days now its been 35 and not an email in sight, with LVO's etc we are seeing more complex things like interview, paperwork of the same etc, CPP-O was smooth for everyone

I really don't think CIC would put up the decision of rejection right up in ecas - approved or rejected, they will send you letter explaining so I think because of your file moving, this is some clerical note from LVO suggesting file went back to CPP-O

i would apprecite if u guys please reply my question
i sponsered my parents in 2009 june and in second round of additional documents they requested more documents and forms as after sending them with pcc which i sent along and after i got letter in august 2012 frm cic that my application is complete and now in processing queue as i checked the status on ecas online and phone it is still same as before only one line as the application recieved in july 2009 as there is nothing new update online
can u guys please tell me if anyone from 2009 is same situation as mine shoud i wait more or i have to call cic

Finally some good news to share!!!

Yesterday I checked my e-cas changed to decision made. And an hour later I got the email for passport request. My parents in India already submitted the passports through vfs office. VFS offcie told them it will take around 10 days for Visa stamping.

I wish all of you waiting for so long also get the same news soon.

Can some one please update my time line as well. Thanks

In my experience, ECAS status updates are a hit or a miss. it can take CPC-M a few months to transfer the files to CPC-ottawa or your local LVO so you can either just wait more, contact your local MP or contact cic.

I suggest you compare your timeline to other people and choose your next course of action based on that.
