Those who have got visa from Seattle office - How long does Seattle take to return passport with visa after they receive parents passports.

We received your application to sponsor "Name" on June 9, 2009. I don't know why it shows June 2009 and in the 2nd line on front page of estatus it shows July 2009.

We sent you a letter on December 3, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Thanks for your response Starzibal, I think the difference is they have our passports already which is why it says office will contact you reg the decision.

Not sure, what happened? any ideas, file was processed in CPC-O.

Possible reason is:
- your file was closed at Ottawa and transferred to LVO for stamping?
- error while updating the e-cas

Seeing your ecas note put my BP up - well, sakamath has posted that link so hopefully its mistake and CPP-P/LVO thing

I did spend many hours today searching. I did read that as well. No link or information found for parents category.
I called CIC 3 times, they do not tell anything. I have emailed CPC-O telling them I never withdrew. Also requested file. I talked to CIC officer directly over phone. He told me to wait one week & send email reminder & will try to process my "request for information" within 2 weeks.

We have waited 5yrs & spend all the money on medicals, fees etc. Not sure why within 1 day of processing they changed it to withdrawn status.

That is shocking apple_talk. I am sure this was done in error by CPP-O. Keep following up with them on this and you will be fine in coming days. Ask them to correct the e-cas status, as you never withdrew the file.

I had contact from last file request. He was nice enough to help, but told me he does not have authorization to pull real time data & update me.

Hi everyone:
I calle the call center tonight and old that my approval for sponsorship was granted today and that a letter was sent out.

I do not know where the file will be sent but I am very relieved to have the first stage approval before the year's end

Mailing address changed to my parents home address on e-cas, however still shows 'Application received'. What does this indicate......probably they are working on our file?
