"criminality" changed to "in progress" on the date when CPP-O received PCCs from me ( I know the exact date and time from a courrier company.

for me criminality is still "not started" but there is PCC scan copy attached to GCMS notes so i know for sure that they received it... but there is nothing in electronic notes that confirms that it's been received...

Question for those who got visa requests from Ottawa. Does status for any of you it was showing "desicion made" or it was "in process" just wondering if there is some kind of patern, or visas came for various statuses.

Hi I received email today for submit passport from CPC Ottawa. Passport submission at Seattle USA . So good news for applicant whose parents here in Canada on visit visa.

i see.
i connected our criminality with PCCs, as they started it on the exact date when they recieved certs.
security is not started though. but security is different from criminality.
I will look at my notes later, as i don't have access to them right now but i remember that i concluded after i read them that PCCs were recieved. Well, i knew they were anyhow-as i saw a signature image online.

Your parents would do the landing in Canada by exiting Canada and re-entering. If they have US visa they can go to USA and come back same day. Otherwise, they need to do go to US border and tell them you arrived for Canada landing and they will issue you a refusal letter. Take that letter, passport and COPR back to Canada border and do landing. Once that is completed, PR card would arrive by mail in few weeks. you may check the processing time on CIC website. You do not need to apply for PR card separately for new immigrants.

Great news. Congrats Punjab... the wait is almost over.

I have to ask, how did you get your medicals off within 5 days? I have just had my mum's done in Mississauga (medical request received 6th September, Medical with x-rays done 10th September). I phone the doctors today, and receptionist said it will take 4 weeks before they are sent off!!
