It normally takes 1.5 to 2 month for an Immigration officer to finalize your file (Decision Made)and approve sponsorship. This is good news! You did not miss any supporting documents.

I just receive letter for "application complete", sponsorship has not been approved yet but it was quick.

No one called for interview in this batch as of yet. Most of the applicants just cleared medicals.. Only one person got request for passports. Will have to wait and see what happens next.

but every single case is dealt differently.

Hi, just looked at e-cas. First line info (when clicking on "in Process" link) shows that medical results have been received. Meds were done on May 21st. This is what it reads:

We received XXXX's application for permanent residence on March xx, 2008.
We started processing XXXX's application on April xx, 2012.
Medical results have been received.

The second row looks is now on the bottom (used to be on top). My guess is that they are working on the website.

Will keep you posted on next developments. Perhaps they want further tests...we'll see. Our LVO is Vienna, medicals processed in London.

Any one heard any thing from the Local VISA OFFICE NEW DELHI???? My file has been transferred on March 6th, yet to receive AOR from them... LUCKY GUYS WHOSE FILE TRANSFERRED TO PILOT OFFICE.... WAITING SINCE 2007.......

I know how you feel :-( I am also waiting since 2007 and got transferred to local VO - nothing from them so far :-( So disappointing and annoying. Only Vienna office seems to move their cases - at least we have Teri here on the forum with the passport request (which is amazing,even ahead Ottawa cases!) and I recall there was another member from this forum who got a medical request from Vienna...
All other LVO seem to do nothing :-(

I applied sponsorship for parents in end of June 2011. I paid fees online and attached paid receipt with the application and send registered post to CIC office. So far I did not hear anything ,even I did not inquire about this . But now I am worried because I paid $1100 but did not receive any file no. I heard that after Nov 2011 or dec 2011 they are not accepting new applications but what about my appilcation. Still waiting for file no or acknowledgement.
Can anyone advice.

As far as I know, scanned and printed copy is good enough. I suggest to check with your local DMP.

The e-cas status has changed.
Now there are two columns
First columns has changed to "Decision Made" and before 1st Mar 2012 it was "Application Received"
Second Column still shows Application Received"

is there any progress after the e-cas status has changed? when was it changed and where has your file been transferred to - Ottawa or New Delhi? mine e-cas status has also changed to two columns, same as in your case and my file has been transferred to New Delhi. Do you have any idea when will I receive medical? as i have noticed it doesnt take more than 2 - 3 weeks to get medical once file transferred to Ottawa, but I havent heard anyone getting medical after the file transferred to New Delhi.
