Congrats Muhriz! You got a response in only 14 days!!! wow. Lucky you!

It normally takes 1.5 to 2 month for an Immigration officer to finalize your file (Decision Made)and approve sponsorship. This is good news! You did not miss any supporting documents.

It is not bad in my opinion, only the officer is updating a little slow.
Otherwise you would not receive the letter stating that your application is complete.
Soon, I think, you will see 2 lines on your e-cas.

Gags, I suggest you take it easy...its the best way to relax as there is simply nothing in our hands. If the likes of SRK can be detained at airports, you can imagine the power and discretion of immigration officials. It seems your app is approved and is simply longer in the queue by a margin, we are all eager but all we can do is wait.

If I were you, focus on some other activities like what you will do when you come here, having a stamp is one thing and then the real life hits you as jobs etc are not that easy and you get into the rut of Canadian issues ( fact of life that priorities switch so quickly )

I like to share some useful information regarding visitor visa for parents.

My Mon applied for regular visa extension last year before Super Visa was announced. Instead of 6 months extension she got 2 years. She went back this year (after year from entry).
Regular extension or Super Visa, both expire once you leave the country.

When she landed again in Canada, CBSA give her remaining time left as visa stamp about till end of 2013, instead of 6 months extension. She never applied for Super Visa, just regular 5 yrs multiple visa 2 yrs back.
