The sponsor got this today via email from CIC. Does this mean that the sponsor needs to send IMM 5476 as a representative too? OR sponsor has to authorize the same person who is a representative for the grandparents? In this case grandchild is the sponsor for her grandparents, while I the parent is the representative. So now we (my daughter and I) have to sign another representative form?

IMM 5476 (for Sponsor): It appears that you are using an authorized representative, however, an IMM5476 has not been provided for the Sponsor. Please provide a current, complete and signed Use of a Representative form (IMM 5476) for the Sponsor.

Hi. I’m new to this thread and my question may be a repeat one please advise by referring to the right page then.
1. My income is sufficient but not taxable ( bursaries and scholarships) does it count for financial support?
2. I got confused when i tried to calculate the exact amount necessary to sponsor my parents from Qc, I reached a number around 60k, does it make sense or I’ve made a mistake?
Anything related to study for example scholarship/bursaries/phd stipends/graduate fellowship etc are NOT counted. Only line 150 in tax return from CRA will count.

60K is normal income to sponsor 2 parents. Check the minimum requirements on IRCC website, for large families the amount is higher. The income must be met for the last 3 taxation years.

Was there any rep form submitted with the app?

Yes there was, but the sponsor is not the representative. I think they want that the sponsor should authorize the representative as well. The submitted form was signed by the grandparents. So do they want a second IMM 5476 now, signed by the sponsor?

@robertp
Please update line 442, application received.

Got another email today to see the Doctor again as some more instructions for further medical exam for my mother are updated in e-medical file.
Quick update, this additional request as per e-medical notes is to wait for 3 months and review the condition again after 3 months by same Cardiologist. So I think we need to wait for 3 months and submit the Cardiologist's opinion/report after 3 months to show if condition is stable. Not sure it is good or bad but looking forward to these 3 months. I may not get any other update on my parent's PR file until we submit this review again after 3 months.

Anyone else who experienced the same kind of review/revisit situation?

That's correct. As Sponsor and Sponsored files are interconnected so IRCC wants Sponsor's authorization as well to release information to you.

Thank you. Will it impact the linking of the application? Now we feel it would have been a lot simpler if we had initially kept the sponsor as rep.
