Hey Guys,


A question regarding CIC honoring the previously given medical.


The medical requested was on 14 August, I had sent a cic webform stating the previous medical results reference. Got a confirmation on 30 August that medicals are now attached to the file.


Today I looked into the my cic it says medical not received, what action shall I take next?

Hi Everyone. Need Help !!

I am one of the PGP 2019 applicants. I successfully applied for my mother's PR who is currently residing in India.
I just received the PCC request for my mother's file. It says that we need to provide PCC for all countries that she has lived in for more than 6 months which happens to be only Canada other than India.
There's no problem getting the Indian PCC but the problem is getting the RCMP Criminal record check from India.
If anyone has done that or have any information on how to proceed, please advise. Much appreciated. Thanks

You don't need PCC from Canada.

Is it possible to do medical for my mom in Canada? I am sponsoring both my parents and one of them is visiting Canada. Since we are expecting a medical request soon, I was wondering if it could be done in Canada.

Also, would it be an issue if my dad does the medical back in home country and my mom does it in Canada?

Medical can be done anywhere in the world.

For your 2nd question, it's kinda unique situation, but as they both will have separate IME, so yes.

Hello Guys,

Any one who has applied for PCC in Canada through BLS Center? Checklist says to submit proof of address in Canada.

My parents are on SuperVisa, so they don't have any address proof. Can I submit my address proof instead?

You can do in CGI Toronto and get the PCC in the same day. I went today morning at CGI and got the PCC in one hour.

How do we received SA letter (email ? or Post ? ). I have got Decision made since Sept 4, but no SA letter yet. I am not sure of my LVO either.

Any idea ?

Dont worry. I just spoke to IRCC. They said they are in process of uploading letters for SA. It's not a concern as long as you know you met sponsorship criteria. Letter is not important they said when you are approved in system.

Call CIC and request for Bio and medical in Canada. They will send you the required information

I called CIC and requested them for bio to be done in Canada (my parents came to canada on supervisa soon after sending application) they said NO. Even agent spoke with her supervisor about it and still answer is NO. Is there anyone who has same case and get bio done in Canada? If yes tell us how to.
