it is with great sadness my application has been denied Although I made it for 2015-2017, I was short of income in 2018 due to a period of unemployment which is out of my control, at the same time my wife was on mat leave and our combined income is still 60% short of what needed only in 2018. Although I thought that I can use either 2015-2017 or 2016-2018 to meet and choose to submit 2015-2017, it is required to meet for 2018 as well regardless of option selected and supposed to meet in this year as well until the application is finalized. Unfortunately nothing I can do at this point, I have resigned to fate, I wish everyone success and it seems like my journey need to take 3 more years to make the next chance.
so sad to hear about it, so before they made decisions, did they ask you for more documents?

Please don't encourage people to commit fraud.
You would be committing fraud which is illegal. Why did you apply if you didn't meet the LICO for 2016?
Hi guys, only Canada Revenue Agency can finalize taxes frauds, eventually CRA audits tax payers, its still not fraud or illegal until CRA finalized it in writing. Illegal means you acts are unlawful not incorrect or unintentionally , whatever you do with proofs and evidences as well as you pay taxes and CRA accepted it. That's totally fine. Cic will never against CRA. The important step is accepted and evaluated by CRA. Absolutely when you claim previous taxes years you may show proofs to prove it for some reason you forgot claim it

Telling people to make up income they didn't actually earn is still telling people to commit fraud.

As has been previously documented on this forum, if you refile taxes for previous years with "forgotten income", CCRA is likely to crawl all over your return with a fine tooth comb, may ask for audits of other years etc. Almost a certainty that your NOA will not be ready in time for this immigration purpose, so you can kiss that goodbye.

Guys,
In the form 5768, Q14 it says "Provide your employment history for last three years", I worked for the same company, should just use one line and enter the total income in the gross income column (Example if I earned 50k each in 2016,2017,2018, I just enter 150,000 in Gross income column) or should I add one line for each taxation year? Please its urgent, I need to send it tomorrow.

That's why i told CRA will ask for proofs and evidences. CRA only cares proofs and evidences. Did he actually earn it or not does not matter unless he cant prove it then he will put in trouble

Likely, i have done taxes claim for many tax payers its fine as well as you have proofs and explanation for reasons you forgot it

Use the guide in the following link https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/a-guide-for-preparing-parents-sponsorship-immigration-application.569846/ , Show your income year wise, and put the total amount you filed with CRA.
