Hi

My father is here in Canada and my mom (dependent) is in India.
Once I get PPR, can my father submit the passport here in Canada and mom can submit it in India - VFS?

How do I go about it?
Do I need to inform CIC about it before we submit the passports? or an explanation letter along with the passports should suffice?

Thanks,
Send a webform to IRCC for clarification. My understanding is both the passport need to be stamped at the same time.

He don't need the co-sponsor at this moment as he qualify for the income (and spouse have no income in that 3 yrs). It's not a required thing for this application.

Yes as per my income I don’t need a co-signer. May be I can try to provide them proof of my marriage so they do not count my wife for 2016&2017 years. If they give me hard time then I will remove her as co-signer.

what do you think, is it good way or not?
All of your support is so much helpful.

Your first step would send a webform clarifying your marriage and family status. Let us know what is their response.

No one can predict what will happen in future and it will not any added benefit for the application. He already got rejected.
What is your point when he is advised to withdraw cosigner?? does it change anything?? Unless his cosigner cosigned previous undertaking with someone else this will reduce his family size. In this case even if he does not add her as cosigner. His family size still same.
@Prince0304 if u 100% ur provided information is correct.Send a webform to them with all support documents.
If cosigner is withdrawn. Your app will be assessed without a cosigner support NOT WITHOUT A WIFE.

Co signor has no income, what is the point of keeping her as a co-signor for 16-18? She is not providing anything for the applicant's LICO requirements.

Lol how about if in 2019 he is lack of $1000 and she worked in 2019 with NOA 2019 just around $200 monthly. This saves his application. You said no one can predict in future why don't he add her here to avoid negative things can be happening while he still needs to count his wife ??
You dont understand what I said. Even if he is not added her 2016-2018 as cosginer. she till be counted and keep in his applicantion till the landed. Why should we make it more complicated to withdraw her?? And then 2019 add her again in case??

No one is asking for 2019 income document yet for PGP 2019. From the above comments, I am also not sure how did you came to this conclusion that the applicant is $1000 short. May be because this is the amount you are asking to other people, that's why? :)

& also don't try to solicit this person asking for $1000 EFT payment.

@K0c4nbi3t He doesn't meet the LICO requirements for 2016. As his wife is cosigner, we're assuming she's been included in family members (4) for all years, including 2016. If she's removed as cosigner, his family members would be 3 for 2016, therefore he would qualify financially.

Please help me!
I sent all documents on Jun 2019, and on october they asked me to resend a form!
i emailed the firm as their request, since then, no news! They even didn’t give me file number to be able to follow up!
When I call, they ask for file number but I have nothing after more than a year!
What should I do?
What date? Please add your info in the tracker.

@robertp
counted after marriage. Not before marriage.

Example 3
Ryan and Anne became common-law partners in 2017. They had a baby in 2018. Ryan wants to sponsor his grandmother and grandfather. Ryan’s grandparents don’t have any dependent children. Anne will be the co-signer.
If Ryan wants to sponsor his grandparents in 2019, Ryan and Anne (together) have to meet the income requirements for 2018, 2017 and 2016.
In 2016, Ryan’s family size was 3:
  • Ryan
  • his grandmother and grandfather
In 2017, Ryan’s family size was 4:
  • Ryan
  • his grandmother and grandfather
  • his partner, Anne
In 2018, Ryan’s family size was 5:
  • Ryan
  • his grandmother and grandfather
  • his partner, Anne
  • his baby
Even though Anne is only included in the family size in 2017, she has to provide her proof of income for 2018, 2017 and 2016, as she’s the co-signer on the application.

Hi you all

I'm a Quebec applicant, I Just send my undertakinp papers to MIFI, what's next?, I suppose I wont be abble to see anything next on my ecas, how can i know how the process is going throug Quebec Government?

THank you
As Robert mentioned earlier in Quebec thread that now a days it takes 5 months to get CSQ, and they are working on OCT files by the time March 2020 time comes it can be a year time to get CSQ.

U will receive AOR from MIFI via mail.
U will receive CSQ from MIFI via mail.

It depends on ur Local visa office, if they feel like asking PCC, travel history or Medical before CSQ.
Some have asked though but not all visa offices. So its all luck and wait now.

There is no way to know what they are doing. U can call them and ask when u have ur AOR from MIFI.

Yup I am telling him to send support documents such as married cert to prove his family size while others advising him to withdraw a cosginer.
