Thanks. If the dad does not want to immigrate for now, and only the mom's information is listed on the interest to sponsor form, if later the sponsor gets picked and the dad decides to immigrate then, can the dad be added to the application?
you must include in income all non accompany family member including your dad even if he is not going and what you submit now must match exactly on your later application if you are selected.

Of course. Why would you even want to submit multiple forms ?
I am thinking since parents are separated, if I can fill one form for mom, one form for dad, then I can apply for whoever gets picked.

That leads to another question, what makes two entries duplicate, same sponsor or same sponsor and same sponsored person(s)? Thanks.

Income is good with dad accompanying. Thanks for reminding.

Yes, supervisa requires financial sponsorship as well, you are responsible for them while they ate on super visa and must show tax income as well

Incorrect. Parents on a supervisa are not included in LICO for parent sponsorship.

Duplicate sponsor. A sponsor can submit multiple applications with one lottery slot, so you can't submit more than one interest form.

Hi guys, I have a question regarding my Parents sponsorship. I got married in 2017 and have applied for my spouse visa for Canada which is still in progress. Before this my status was single for the past 3 taxation years.

1) Now what size of family unit should I choose? 1 or 2?

2) also for Mom and Dad the sponsored persons are 2 so that should make the income requirements for Family unit + 2 persons right?

Your family size will be 4 for 3 previous tax years: you + spouse + 2 parents.

Spouse must be included regardless if they are a PR yet or not.

Wrong. There is no undertaking involved for supervisa, so parents on supervisa are NOT counted in family size as they are not being sponsored.

Supervisa is just a slightly longer version of a TRV.

Parents and grandparents can be sponsored at the same time through separate applications.

Can I sponsor more than one person through the Parents and Grandparents Program?

Yes, you may sponsor more than one person if you want to.

If you are invited to apply, you can sponsor your parents and grandparents (separately in the case of divorce).

To do so, you will need to submit separate applications for each person (or couple) you sponsor. We will process each application separately.

Yes agreed and its the correct answer...

If it was me I would just include his name, as it would be easier to simply change him to non-accompanying dependent vs trying to add him as an accompanying if you didn't list his name in interest form.

Either way he must be included in family size, and must undergo and pass a medical exam, even if he's non-accompanying in the app. Note if you don't meet income for both parents, or he fails medical exam, that will result in rejection of your mom's PR app.

Hi,
Both Me and my Brother are individually eligible to sponsor our Parents. If we submit our separate Interest to Sponsor forms, will it be considered as duplicate considering Parent names will be same in both the forms ?
Thanks
I didnt get a response on above question, can anyone answer this ? Thanks

Hi
Please advise me on this when we submit the online interest form they ask the information for parents nd grandparents but there is no column for dependent child . So it means no need to fill out any information for dependent.
Thanks

Hi,
I am working in Canada since Feb 2015. I am meeting all the minimum income requirements except T4 requirement of 2014/2015/2016. I will be getting my third T4 in Feb 2018. Am I still eligible to apply or should I wait for another year.?

You dont need 2014. Requirement is 2015, 2016, 2017 Every one will be getting T4 in Feb 2018... But they dont need T4 they require NOA which you get after you file your tax return. It is fine you are eligible to apply if you have 2015,2016,2017
