We finally got our DM on the sposorship application on Sep 23rd and got the request for medical as well...The Case-Processing center for PR is CPC-Mississauga...Is this normal considering my parents are back in China now?

Congrats...Yes. it is. Mississauga is your primary visa office processing your application and they typically choose a secondary visa office as well which in your case would be in your home country, China.

I finally received a passport request today. I was also required to provide update family information or change of marital status. There are no changes, so am i still required to fill the family information if there are no changes or I should simple advise in a cover letter that there are no changes to the family information submitted and marital status

I guess you should fill out a webform to ask if it is still necessary to fill out the family information forms since nothing has changed. They usually respond within 1-3 business days, then u can follow whatever advice they give you.

Did you happen to check your spam folder. I happened to check today and found that the passport request letter is an email and was sitting in spam since yesterday. It came from ‘DoNotReply-DELHI-Immigration@international.gc.ca’

No updates in myCIC though.
The email says if you are in Canada it can be sent to Ottawa. My parents are arriving on the 6th, so will be sending out once they are here.

Called CIC today in regards to DM made 14 days ago .He said file is still at Mississauga and needs a final check/approval before it’s sent for PPR.Looks like one of the final approval guys is on a long leave or they are batch processing applications for final approval

Did anyone ask IRCC to change LVO? I have the following situation. My mother is currently living in Canada under her super visa. She is allowed to stay in Canada until March 2020. We indicated her home address as Canadian one, but IRCC sent her documents to Warsaw. I expected that LVO will be in Ottawa. I still did not get any reply from Warsaw and afraid that it is very slow. Just wonder if someone asked IRCC to change LVO to Ottawa?
