If your parent is in Canada on Supervisa from the time you submit the application, and provided a Canadian residence address, does you parent do the medical in Canada or would they have to fly to home county to do medical. I'm asking because my mom is on Supervisa and hoping she doesn't have to go back to home country.

Can i apply for PCC before CIC ask us to avoid further delays?

no, your parents don't need to fly back, everything can be done in Canada.

Hello All, I am a 2018 applicant and sponsored my mother. Today the CIC update said decision made, but we have received no email from the embassy. Aso the GC Key account has no update. Anyone knows what this could be ? Medicals/PCC/some missing documents were sent in Februray this year. Any advice would help. Thank you.

So the last update was medical received and medical passed. No update on MY CIC or no email after that, no PPR request. MY CIC just says decision made.....

1. Linking application is tricky. Most problematic is the family member number. Please try all the adult member in family (usually 2) + Your mother (total 3) and try. If you sponsored others before (like your wife's parents), then the number would be 3+ previous applicants (3+2 =5 if you sponsored bother ur wife's parents). Besides, all the other information requested for the linking form should be the same as your IMM008 form. Please let me know if that works.

2. When passport request is sent, you have the option to send passport to the LVO or Ottawa if your mother is in Canada. Her address does not matter. The request email specifies bothe Ottawa and LVO locations. However, this is the last phase of application. You still have medial and PCC to submit before the final decision and passport request. Good luck.

Challenge that I came across:
1. I kept on entering the country of birth for my father as india as there was no Pakistan in 1935. One I changed that to (factually incorrect)Pakistan, it wnet through.
2. Number of applicants that wrorked for me was 3. My dad is the applicant and I and and my wife are the sponsors. Did not get this right earlier.

It could take between 1 day to 1 month after DM before PPR. Just be patient.

Today I got sponsorship approval email and it stated that the visa processing center for PGP will be CPC-Mississauga. My parents live in Bangladesh and have never visited Canada. Our visa processing center should be Singapore.

Is this a error? should I be worried?

Hi All,

I sponsored my parents as a part of PGP 2018 and they received their PR last year in November. They were planned to land here in early May but unfortunately my father had to undergo major surgery in April due to which they were not able to travel in May 2019. Now the problem is he might have to undergo another surgery and I suspect he might not be able to travel even by august-2019. My parents visa expiry date is August 23rd 2019. I don't want them to lose their PR. Can anybody please advice what can be done in such situation? Should I inform CIC about their current health status and inability to travel in short term ? has anyone seen any case like this before? Any suggestions/thoughts would be highly appreciated.

CPC-M is temporary, they will evaluate your sponsorship application. After you are approved, you will be transferred to Singapore.

PCC request letter from London says "Provide an original police clearance certificate". Does this mean they need an original certificate through courier or something? Or can I just scan and upload in the GCKey account?

Can those who have received the PCC request (especially from London Visa office) please advise? Many thanks.
