Sponsorship approval:- September 10th,2018 (transferred to LVO)

Medical request (along with pre-arrival):- May 2nd, 2019

PCC:- May 9th, 2019

No Additional documents or travel history requested.

Pleae can you tell me why they have started processing your file, Mine went to LOndon VO on August 03rd 2018 and we have heard nothing at all ?

This is Gayatri my parents received COPR with Visas stamped on May 12 th

My parents visa expiry date until March 30th,2020
They are planing to come to canada in March, 2020

But it is meant to go into a Queue and be processed in order of receipt, not "luck"

I have just sent an email to ask what happens regarding the order of processing, this is very frustrating, I'm not feeling very patient today

Be patient, you will also got a positive response this week. Every case is different may be less background check for that applicant.

Transferred to LVO doesn't mean it gets transferred immediately. Sometimes they have a big queue at LVO and it awaits at Mississauga until LVO have room to accept more in their system.

I applied with my friend the same day and his file is still waiting at Mississauga office since November (He was requested additional documents). I think I got lucky.

Hello, question for the seniors here. We got invitation to apply for my in-laws, my Father-in-law is a retired Seafarer for 35 years so you can just imagine what his travel history is. We we're given some kind of an employment certificate/service record from his employer that states the name of the ship, the date that he joined the crew and the date that he signed off. They went as far as 20 years ago... Would this be sufficient? I'm also planning on including all his passport stamps and Seaman's booklet stamps.

Did anyone respond to you, about your question, I am wondering the same thing. How do you enter the personal history. You only have to show for the past 10 yrs. So do you write about every stamp on CDC, and what about when he is in international waters for day 4-5 months?

Thats true, certain factors decide processing times for your application. Happy for you. May you get visa very soon. and May it be eased for all of us as well.

Did you BC check got in saying we are processing it and will let you know if we need more information, or it stayed like the same, we will let you know once we start your BC and send you a messege?

Not an issue ... same with my Dad .. dont worry

My mother has Cataract in one eye. The doctor advised her to not to go for surgery for now. He basically said its not worse enough for a surgery at this moment.

Will this be an issue for her medical?
Should we get the surgery before the medical?
