Hello Everyone,
I got selected in Second Round of AOR and my deadline is OCTOBER 5th to submit all documents.
I am almost done with my parents Applications.
My father did the upfront Medical Exam on OCTOBER 2017 almost a year ago.
I want to know if that medical exam will work if i send that document along with my application or he needs to do that again.

Now, he went today to give medical exam and was been told that you were referred to Cardiologist in April 2018, to me that sound strange , why would the medical center call you after 6 months of medical exam to go for Cardiology and not at that time.
Also, the medical center in Delhi , didn't allow him to go for another medical exam and they were like we will let you know in 2 days if you have to still give cardiologist exam.

Now seeing deadline approaching fast, can some experts advice me what should i do ?
Shall i send the package with this medical exam and wait for response from CIC to do another medical exam or give the new medical exam upfront and attach it to the application ,

Responses appreciated !!.
Follow the guide and submit whatever is on the checklist.... goodluck

Dear members,

I have questions regard parents sponsorship program, I am currently waiting for AOR, and medical exam requests. my first question is will the request for medical exams only be regard my parents ?? or my brothers and sisters who are older than 22 years are also going to be requested to do the medicals. They are not dependents, and they will not accompany my parents to Canada. but I have heard in some other PR programs that the principal applicant will need to examine all of his or her family members even those who are not attending? my other question , in case my brothers will need to do the medicals , one of my brothers is working in a far fetched area, and will not be able to do the exam, also he not interested in coming to Canada at any time, So how can I avoid the delay that might be caused by him not doing the exam ???
I would appreciate any help . Thanks

If they are over 22 years old and they are not accompanying then they dont need to go for any medical.Medical is calid for only your parents then.

Just an FYI, my parent's GCKey status changed from "Medicals requested" to "Medicals Passed" directly. There was no interim "Medicals Received" update. Took around 7 business days after the results were uploaded by the doctor (e-medical).

Also, my parent's application is being processed in Ottawa, but they did their medical exam in their home country.

2-check by cic account
I hope we are talking about same thing

1. One account on CIC portal is only to check the status if your application
2. Another account called GCKey Account or whatever. You can link your application with that account. Then you can check status on that account. But most usefulness of that account is, you can upload DOCs to that account, when CIC ask you about any documents. Also you can see a new message from CIC side as well.

Hope this would help

Hi everyone. Pls I have a question. My parents married in a traditional marriage in 1960s where both families come together and groom family pays dowry for the bride. It called Traditional marriage but they don’t issue certificate. It is a recognized marriage in my country as well as other type of marriage like court (civil) and religious marriage. Both parents mutual separated in 2011. But immigration is asking for divorce certificate mean while they don’t even have government marriage certificate. What should I do? Thanks in advance.
I am not 100% sure, but I could have done the following if I am you.

1. Contact a notray/lawyer in Canada to have an alternative that have CIC can accept. I know, lawyer may have charge you 400$ at first meeting. But notary may be cost you less.
2. If lawyer is expensive, go to Notary and ask for draft of a self declaration letter, that explain from your parents side, that, they were married since ...date.... and now divorce since .....date . Send that draft to your parents back and get a notary attested. Send that letter to CIC with explaination letter as well. lIke you are not able to produce divorce because, authority did not provide such etc..
3. The above may be sufficient. If possible, apart from above document, contact, City or village Councillor/Sarpanch of community back home, where your parents lived. Ask Councillor/Sarpanch to attest such declaration signed by your divorced parents as well and send to CIC..
4. CIC understand this , that it is not your fault. But at least submit something

Hope this would help

Hello,

Anyone received the AOR from the Second round of selection? From the excel spreadsheet, looks like the people who got selected for the first round received AOR faster.
