UPDATE !!!!
Its 4am in Victoria BC and I still can't sleep!!! Yesterday ECAS was changed from "application received" at the Singapore VO office to "In process".
My wife and I were ecstatic and thought we would hear from the VO within a few weeks!!!
HOWEVER I got a email from my wife at 2am with an email saying this...

WOW what a great 2 days! Normally it takes a month after "in process" but I think mine might have been faster because I work for the federal government of Canada and already have a security level (so less likely they think I would be involved in marriage fraud)
Overall the process 8 months to get to this point. We are planing for her to spend TET holiday in Vietnam and then land by mid March.
I had just come back from a visit to Vietnam last week and when we left my wife was pretty down about not knowing when we could meet the next time.
I am still wired to think my wife will be here soon!!!
