Ottawa-Estimate of time from PPR to COPR in mail

Hi,

I am getting close to my PPR I hope. I am trying to gauge how long for the COPR in the mail. Have to leave the notice for my apartment and work but I want to be gone as soon as my COPR arrives. So hard to plan for this. It seems like the average time is about 6-7 weeks. Can others share their timeline?
It would be greatly appreciated. This forum has been invaluable

I will let you know. We faxed in the passport last Saturday and my ecas changed to 'decision made' on Friday.

Just because your file is in Ottawa now does not mean your visa will come from there... I had sponsorship approval and my files stayed in Ottawa then one day I got e-mail from Ottawa my file was done being processed and transferred to LA for visa issue, 3 hours later I got PPR from LA once they got the passport it take about 5 days to get DM on e-cas... the day I got DM was the day they mailed it... then it is all up to how long the mail takes to run, when I sent my passport it took 7 days from Ontario to LA coming back same route took 14 days... either way Good Luck!

Okay. PPR was sent in Nov 29th. They mailed out COPR on December 5th and it arrived today (December 10th).
