Hello,

I am trying to work out how to do my list of goods to follow/accompanying. It is quite tedious and I hope that I am doing it the right way.
Qorax has a very good thread on it if you have any questions, those are the instruction I am following actually.

Question for other: I booked my flights with Air Transat, has anyone flown with them? what are the aircrafts like?
I am not going to be taking much luggage with me now, so not worried about that, but I am curious to see if anyone has ever flown with them.

Hi everyone,

I've just come back from holiday in Sicily so a little late on this but congratulations to all who have recently got their visas and well done M&JM on the interview, very happy for you!

:D

Hey congrats Ramuk.

@ edupolo, air transat's flight isn't normally comfortable nor food is good. Aircraft are bit too conjusted. It's a budget airline so can't complain. They are terrible for luggage allowance so it's good that you aren't taking much.

Hi seniors and fellows,

I got MR on 14-07-2011. I want to clearify one thing which is as follows:

I got an email of MR from OTTAWA on 14-07-2011 and in which letter from London is enclosed dated June 08,2011. The expiry of my MR is 30 days from the date of this notice , but I have not received any letter from London or Ottawa either.

Could you please assist me what date shall I take for expiry i.e june 08,2011 which becomes July 07.2011 over OR July 14,2011 which becomes due on Aug. 13,2011???

Regards,

never mind the dates and do it as soon as possible!
I'm sure Ottawa/London will understand if you send a mail/email to ottawa explaing this at the time when you do your medicals. I mean they're always late, surely they could accept us being late too, especially if it's their fault. As far as I remember nobody was refused for doing their medicals after the 30 days (but don't delay too much either!)

And remember: the sooner you do your meds, the sooner you get PPR!

Congratulations to you and hope everything goes well :)

Hi

I need some advice/ideas, I have my interview on the 20th July at the embassy, we have collated all of the documents requested, my bank have messed up sending me printed saving acount statements which detail the sufficient funds that are needed, annoyingly they have sent me all but the last 3 months worth, stating that this batch is due to be sent to me from the 21st July [which obviously is not helpful]. Do you know if I print out statements from online banking that these will be sufficient enough? I have been told that even if I go to my bank they will not print on letter headed paper for me! Any advice/ideas are gratefully received!

Best.

Hi Carmewell,
its sad but just pray and believe that the rest will come before that date better still let the bank print the statement for you even if they wouldnt do that on the letterhead at least transction will sure for the last 6 months.if i remember you re for quality assurance pls share your experiences.

Hi,

I went to my bank today and they very kindly printed out on letter headed paper! Yay, panic over. Yes I am going in for my quality assurance interview on Wednesday this week!

Best.

So whats your next move ?
Best wishes and enjoy the success :)

Deal all,

We have undergone our medical examination today and as per their commitment they will send the report within 5 working days.

I wanna ask you after medical results, how many months they (CIC) take for PPR if everything is normal????

Another question, I have four members in my family and having machi readable passport except my younger daughter who has manual passport.

Should I get machime readable passport for her for visa stamping or go with manual passport otherwise the details will be changed which we have provided to CIC.

Regards,

Congrats to everyone who did their meds/interviews/PPRs etc.
To add to the joyful excitement on this thread, we are getting married next week on July 25 in Florida :-*
And then when we come back from our honeymoon we have 3 weeks to go before our Glasgow-Vancouver one way flight 8)
Best-and craziest- summer ever!

Wish everyone here the same level of happiness.

M and J-M

M+JM

Wishing you an amazing wedding day next week, a safe flight and happy and healthy life in Vancouver!

Best wishes.

Hey,

Congrats M+JM on your wedding and your one-way flight! I have finally organised everything and tomorrow I am flying off to Toronto! Heat wave over there... we will be welcomed by 38C degrees and it will feel like 46C. That is going to be a big change from the awful British 'summer'.

Unfortunately, my ticket is a return flight, but I cannot wait to get there and enjoy my new city-to-be.

I will keep you posted when I return about my landing experience. We are so excited!!!

Good luck for those who are still waiting.

Hi

Quality Assurance interview complete, it went smoothly, our officer was incredibly nice, helpful and informative. We were with her for about 40 minutes in total. They have our passports and we should expect them back and stamped in 2 to 3 weeks! ;D

Very excited.

Good luck to everyone,

Best.

Dear friends, on 19.07.2011 my e-cas showed DM!
Cheers! Sante!
So, it is now matter of 1-2 weeks till passports will come back to Jeddah.
Congratulations to M+JM! Felicitations!
Je suis content pour vous.
