Hey ahmadtajwer, don't worry. I'm sure it's just a case of an incompetent employee. Maybe she hasn't dealt with a lot of CPP-O applicants before. You'll get your passports in two weeks buddy ;)

Guys guess what, draft has already been encashed, after all that mouthingggg :o
Yeah, I guess that is the first thing they do, isn't it?. erm....... en-cash, and after that make you wait , wait and wait. That seems to be their trademark.
Anyway, congratulations once again and good luck.

@ M+JM, that;s right although she said that she is not upset with me but the officers who issued PPRs, but it was very unprofessional and she was louddd. Part of the post got missing....., we had to queue up outside the embassy in rain for 40 mins although we reached there at 2pm sharp but there was already a queue there and it was moving like a snail, never mind..... Will update you whatever happens next.

There were no raining in London yesterday.

Nectar,
Hope you dont mind if I ask you a question, since you seem to be quite knowledgeable about the process.
If I have not heard anything from Ottawa about passport requests after 8 months, in fact I think I was the first one to receive the medical request, should I assume that there is something wrong with my medical and I will need further tests. If so, will the medical branch (as they call it) send me a letter or an email for further tests? If I do not have to do any further tests, and every medical has to go through Health Canada (medical branch) in Canada, how come there are applicants who did their medicals in November/December and already got their requests?
I am trying to anticipate what to expect.
I asked Ottawa what happens if I dont hear from anyone until after my medicals expire this July, and their answer was: 'your case cannot proceed until we get result from our medical branch, thank you for your patience'.
Any advise/recommendations?

Nectar, may be you were sitting inside your (CIC) office and erm......... was busy and hence, did not notice the rain. ;) (LOL)

LOL :P , rain doesn't have to be a constant one to be called rain, allright put it this way, we had rain showers after which we were wet, if that makes any sense !!!

Edupolo, my sincere suggestion would be to write to minister CHC telling him everything and that some applicants have already been processed but your medicals still haven't received by Ottawa and are still with Canadian health authorities. If it was me, I wouldn't have left any stone unturned.

If Nectar was sitting in CIC office that means he wasn't busy coz they don't normally work there ::)

Dear edupolo,

Please don't trust in all the information people sharing here regarding their application status.

There is always a queue at every step in processing of FSW PR applications. It may be an error e-mail sent to you therefore I will suggest you to either wait until you receive the official medical furtherence instructions from CIC or send a case enquiry to CIC by May 2011.

Good Luck

Nectar

Congrats to all (Ahmed,Patelppuk, secret,Machaja,Deeaar) those who have received the PPR and i wish you all a very happy and successful life in Canada. :) good luck

Nectar,

Thank you for your response. It seems like Ottawa is just sending standard resposes at the moment. I am definitely concerned about the fact that it has been this long, and I only have 4 months to do additional tests (if needed), get PPR, get visa, and then validate visa by 26 July. It nearly seems impossible if I need the additional tests, I am quite unsure as to why I may need additional test, which also has me quite worried.

Do you know who sends the additional tests request? is it CIC Ottawa, CIC London, or Health Canada? is it via e-mail like the PPR, or via post?

Thank you again for being so helpful.

Dear edupolo,

Additional medical tests will be asked by Regional Medical Services Division London, England.

Thanks again.
And you tihnk that I should not do anything and just wait until May before I send them another email asking about my medicals, even though they expire in July?
