Thanks again.
And you tihnk that I should not do anything and just wait until May before I send them another email asking about my medicals, even though they expire in July?

Dear edupolo,

I will say yes or drop an e-mail by the end of April 2011.

Nectar

A new week and a new hope for everyone waiting for PPR!

I hope we'll be hearing some good news this week. Good luck to everyone :)

Dear All,

Kindly check your on line status as mine one has been changed from "Application received" to "In process".

It seems work is going on and we all receive a response from CPPO-OTTAWA.

Regards,

Guys, Nectar is leaving the forum for some reasons.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/goodbye-t66744.0.html

I wonder no more breaking news? He had his predictions right to some extent i guess?

M+JM, any news mate?

Mmmm what an enigmatic character, some good insight, but maybe he would rather leave now than too late...

Anyway nope, still no news. Last CPPO activity was 11 days ago when you guys got your PPRs. I wonder, do they follow a 2 week pattern (1 week something else, one week us)? Hope we don't stay long enough to have time to figure out a pattern though!

Emotional rollercoaster is back on the tracks, this week is dooooown :'( But it's bound to go up again!

Yes, it is quite sad that Nectar is leaving the forum. He was one of the few people that for some reason gave me hope in his answers. As he said to me, I will try not too think too much about PPR until end of April 2011, if the PPR comes then great, otherwise I will send a further reminder in April.
In the meantime, I have booked 2 holidays, which means that I will probably be asked for my passports when I need them to travel.

Guys, guess what, I've received my CAIPS today which I applied early last month. ::) All our files have been transferred from CAIPS to GCMS late last year. I have CAIPS plus GCMS notes at the same time as most of it was in Global Case Mgmt Systems. They calculated my points as 72 and than for some strange reasons, VO decided to reassess my file and reduced points to 67, 5 adaptability points were taken off as VO wasn't satisfied that my parents are actually living in Canada :o To prove all that, i sent there PR copies, there bank statements, my father's up to date payslips and tax returns, what else can be submitted to prove that they are actually present in Canada.? :-\ I don't wanna think about it anymore as it's almost over now.

Another thing for everyone's interest, security checks were done before meds., so all of those who have had their meds done should be issued with PPR., as security checks presumably have been completed ::)

Good info Ahmad, thanks for sharing it.

Nice to see your CAIPS info. I M on the same board that my case eas trfed. to GCMS on 15-11-2010. But where have you found your points in CAIPS or GCMS sheet because in my file only age points are coming and against the rest heads "0" are mentioning.

Regards,

I believe that this means that they haven't processed your file yet. That's why you haven't received your medicals till now. What was the BFD?

Hey Ahmad thanks for sharing this. Might bring hope for the coming weeks (fiancee aka "M" is getting really depressed, like medically depressed, so this might cheer her up a little!). Still no sign of activity at CPPO since March 04...
Anyway glad to see you got everything sorted out, and may all others here keep faith, it'll come sonner or later, but it WILL come!

Thats good news Ahmad.
I guess that if background checks were done before medicals, then we really are just waiting for PPR or Additional tests. Week is nearly over....

Hi M+JM
I totally believe that someone could get sick of all this (physically or emtionally), it is too muchm, especially if your heart is on it and you know that you are a good person. All this screening and waiting makes you feel like garbage honestly (not to mention the complete disregard that Ottawa has towards our queries).

Hi ahmadtajwer,

Just a question. When did they recalculate your points from 72 to 67, before medicals or after?

It should be before medicals, but I just want to make sure. It would be a shame if they decide to recalculate someone's points after medicals and then find them below 67 and decide to refuse the application :o Wouldn't that be something!

Thanks.

I agree with you all, but, Guy's, take it cool. Health they say is Wealth. You are, Edupolo, M+JM...........etc, almost at the final stages. I am sure, for you Guy's, it's just a matter of some weeks, since you are yet to clock their so called 42-48Months standard processing time. Imagine people like me who are yet to receive a documents update letter, not to talk of processing our file in any way, cause they surely cannot process anything when they don't even have a single paper of ours (LOL).

I am sure they are "staggering the issuance of VISA", as seen mentioned in various replies to queries by applicants on various forums.

Good Luck to you all.
