I found this forum by accident. I am also a 2007 applicant, request for resubmitting documents was on April 2010, and meds came in October 2010.
Anyway, I was going through the CIC website, and I found this information, I don't know if you all know it or not, but I just wanted to share it with you.
cic.gc.ca/english/resources/statistics/data-release/2010-Q2/index.asp
Check out the second table, the backlog of applications remained from before Feb 27 2008 is 354,880 files in June 2010. Compared to 374,827 in March 2009. Which means that only 20,000 applications of the backlog files were processed for the whole year.
So, if we will divide the remaining 350,000 by 20,000 a year, it will take CIC 17.5 years to complete this backlog. And given the fact that this backlog goes back to 2005, I think that the 2007 applications should be finalized roughly in 2025!! and this is a very bad news!! ??? >:(
Please correct me if I'm wrong, because I do hope my calculations are wrong.
Best wishes...

Just occured to me, doesn't CPPO know you can send an email to multiple recipients? It would save them so much time :P
To: All CPPO applicants! Click Send. Hop, done, took 5 seconds! :P :P :P

Re: Hello there guys!

GreenLeaf

I just noticed the quote you have about my first writing in this forum! Sorry, my head must be somewhere else :) Yeah, it was a long run. But you know what, they even say in the letter that you shouldn't do anything " Irrevocable .. such as selling your property or quit your job until you have received your passports with permanent resident visas" so I guess it's not the end yet :)

You are totally right! The letter is not even addressed by name, it says "Dear applicant" I mean they don't even have to change anything! :)

That's not it!
We didn't receive anything yet, that was just a joke about how CPPO could give us all an email at the same time....anyway I hope you'll soon have a reason to say that about us, ahmadtajwer! Surely ours can't be far away...
;)

Congrats Secret!...Well if already 3 from this forum has already received PPR than I suppose there are many more from CPP-O who are not part of this forum must have received their PPR'S. It would be rather interesting to do a counting of total cpp-o members in this forum in order to get much clearer picture of how things are progressing.
So I request all active members of this forum who are part of cpp-o to assign one number to themselves in order for us to have a total count.
Let me start with myself......ultimate_mr_universe-1

I hope the next person would use number 2 and so on...........
