Yes I sent it on last week, so far, they have had 4 working days to respond to it. I don't know if that is normal since this is just the second time I have had to communicate with them.
Will let you know when they reply and if they tell me anything new or again it is going to be one of their 4-word replies.

I am new to this forum infact this is my 1st post. I am 2007 applicant. My file has been transferred to Ottawa.In early July 2010 I sent my Documents to Ottawa. I already resigned from the job when i sent my documents. My current employer refused to give Experience certificate by saying that i will get it when i will be relieved in late july. I sent all the documents of current job(my contract copy, pay slips, job discroption, visiting cards of my boss and administrator etc.)alongwith my resignetion letter and the acceptance letter by the company and mentioned that as soon as i will be relieved fromm the job ,i will send u experience certicate and relieving letter.
but till date i am working in the same company and fate of the job is still not clear. I am still not in a position to send experience certificate. What should i do? should i send a mail to them explaining my position ? Is this situation can delay my case which i donot want. I am working in UAE. Do they inquire own their own?
Please suggest .

Hi godwilling, welcome to the Ottawa family. You dont need to worry about exp certificate as you have sent all the other things like contract and job description letter etc. If they ask for your experience letter than you can explain the situation, normally they don't ask for these kind of docs. UAE thing won't delay anything so dont worry about that either. I sent my docs in May and still waiting for medicals so your might take another couple of months, so sit back and relax.

it has been 7 working days since I replied to Ottawa with a question and they still have not replied. Is this normal? I have only sent two emails to them, the first one they replied within 24 hours. Has any of you experienced these delays in getting a response?

In the mean time ,I wrote a mail to Ottawa intimating them that i am still working in the same company and asking them about e-case status which is showing blank. Waiting for their reply.

I stay in kuwait and its been almost 36 months now and i am wondering when should i give my IELTS and start preparing for other documentation ??

How do they choose who's case has to be transferred to Ottawa or not. How come feb2008 and those up to October 2007 Applicants files have been transferred for God's sake and those in between, November 2007 to Jan 2008 have been left hanging/suspended in the Air. I am getting really angry about the whole Canadian Immigration thing. Can someone clarify all this double standard, which is contrary to what they have on their websites i.e.applications are processed in the order that they are received.

I think what hronaque was trying to say that he is "pre" feb 2008 applicant and as he has mentioned in his email that it's been 36 months and still no doc update req. I don't know how he knows that his file has been transferred to Ottawa. Lemee explain what happened, those apllicants who applied in Sept 2007, when they received their doc update letters in Jan/Feb this year, they were told to submit their updated docs to pilot immigration project in Ottawa. It was to reduce some weight off of CHC London and it said that we'll processed quickly but it's been 5 months, i still haven't received my medical request. They say that they'll process the applications in order they receive them, this was sort of true up until Feb 2008, after that there is FIFO method but sometimes even it's LIFO (Last In First Out) : I hope that you receive your letters sooon as it's really long wait for you guys now. :'(

any good news for ottawa applicants , still iam waiting for medicals from last may2010, nothing is happening in london chc and waiting is causing more frusturation and can understand the feeling of other members ,who are waiting like me .lets all hope good things to happen in near future.

Nothing here either mate, it's frustrating especially when someone told you that "you'll be receiving you medicals shortly". Hey edupolo, did you finally get any reply from them, if not, are you thinking of firing a reminder? Surely they are not that buzy that they haven't responded you for about 2 weeks now. Anyways good luck to everyone.

no reply yet. today is 2 weeks and have not heard from them. I may send them a reminder at the end of the week. has anyone heard from them in the last two weeks in the form of an email reply? I find it quite rude if they just decide not to reply, I'd rather have the standard reply i think.

Also, regarding BobbyB post, I agree that the message from Hronaque was misinterpret it, since I do not know how he would know that he was transferred to Ottawa. Otherwise, please explain.

Hi all,

I emailed CPP-Ottawa again today to remind them about my medicals not being received yet and guess what, i received reply from them within 3 hours

Reply reads "Your medical forms are in the mail to the address you provided".

So, another ray of hope for us again, see if we really receive something... :

I am wondering why they answer within three hours and I have not got a reply for two weeks when I was actually replying to one of their emails to me and I took the opportunity to ask a question.
I guess I will resend it in case they never got it for whatever reason.
Let us know when any of you get medical or passport request.

I have received a response to my chaser email today. This time and for the first time it had the name E.HSU like yours.
Even though we asked if they could confirm if our medicals are with them. Their response was that our application is still within the time frames of the original acknowledgement letter and we will move on to the next stage in due course.

I guess a simple YES or NO to my question would have been easier since that response they sent me does not tell me whether they are with them or not.
I think E.HSU may be a fictitious name anyway.

I recd my medicals today and the date on the letter is 23 september 2010 . They have asked us to submit the reports within 30 days otherwise there will be unneccesary delay in the processing of the file. Now 30 days are already over. I am really upset. Should ii ask their approval first or should proceed for the medicals immediately or else .Please advice
