Hi Everyone....

Nice to know that there is a thread for Old Case applicants of 2007 and CPP-O. I applied my case in aug 2007 and got confirmation in Oct 2007.
Recently i did my medicals with family on 26/10/10 and sent on 31/10/10.

Best wishes to all n hoping to receive our call for passport soon, keeping in mind christmas holidays in december.

Hi... I recvd CHC ( CPP-Ottawa) requirements which includes PCL , Original IELTS and other employment docs in March 2010. Then i got a further designation explanation call in June 2010. And now on 15 Oct 2010 i got Medical call. I finished my medicals on 26/10 and sent on 31/10.

God willing i get passport call very soon. Hoping the same and the best for you all too.
Keep me updated on your developments as well.

Finally, I got the right platform which I had been seeking for last five months. First of all, find below my timeline:

Application submitted on Sept. 2007;
Processing started as per e case October,22 2007
Letter for documents to CPPO March,11 2010
Dead line for documents July,11 2010
Documents submitted except IELTS May,26 2010
IELTS submitted October,13 2010

Will my processing start from May,26 2010 or once they received my IELTS result?

When shall I expect a call from CIC office?

Which office you people receive medical papers London or Ottawa?

I recvd my Medical call from CPP Ottawa but they had asked me to send it by courier to Medical deptt, CHC London.
I did my medicals in abudhabi , UAE and it costed me Aed. 650 pp.

got CHC req. in between march-april and then some more designation related requiremnts from them in June end . Now in oct 15, 2010 i got medical call.

Hi friends,

One of my friends got medical call and they sent. After three months they got a call for passport for visa stamping. One of his kids does not have machine readable passport. Should he get first MR passport and send then? If he does, passport number and other details will be changed as he submitted earlier.

Appreciate your valuable feed back on that.

Get them to email CHC and let them know and follow whatever they say. I personally think that even manual passports should also be acceptable.

I would like to share the relevant part of my "Acknowledgement of Receipt" received from CIC tomorrow after requested by me as I submitted my documents May,26 2010.

As part of the Government of Canada’s Action Plan for Faster Immigration, Citizenship and Immigration Canada is working to reduce this inventory of Federal Skilled Worker applications. Your application is part of a small group of files that has been transferred to the Case Processing Pilot-Ottawa (“CPP-O”) office to speed up processing of your application.

The file number assigned to your file is the same as the one assigned by our visa office in London. You must quote this file number in any future correspondence.

Processing time

Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to require on average 10 months to process at this office. If you have not received any instructions from this office by March 10, 2011, you are requested to contact this office directly.

As my friends submitted their documents in July 2010 , but they got Medical call in September 2010.

Would anyone share his/her experience?

dear kur761, It all depends on one's background checks, how many employers you have worked with, education, etc etc. In short CHCs don't go by the dates they receive the applications, they offcourse start processing the apps in order they receive them but they issue the next stage as soon as first one gets cleared. Like your case and timelines will be entirely different to mine so will be the dates of correspondances. You said that you just have submitted your IELTS cert., i wonder if they are going to accept that as you are suppose to submit everything in one pack with ur docs. It'll take a while in ur case before you receive ur meds.
