Hi rajanvnv. I just today realised that I have submitted most of the documents as notarized full colour scans. Do you think it's a problem? They did not specify notarised or not, so I thought notarized is better. But now after seeing this line in the schedule 4 request "if original is asked please submit original, we don't accept notary copies" I'm panicking a bit. But in the document checklist itself and main instructions page, it doesn't say at all that they don't accept notarised colour copies. I don't know whether to now email them original scans for all documents or just wait for them to get back to me. Please advise.

Since they have requested for the schedule 4 from you, i am supposing that they have already checked the documents you have uploaded and may not be an issue...although i am not sure....

My family size is 2 so second option suits me however my consultant has put CAD 28000 in error for me, will it be an issue if I now show only 15K CAD?

Main things they check are for active tuberculosis infection in the lungs thru chest xray, HIV infection, Syphilis and they also do a urine test and physical examination.

Thanks for your reply to my query.

Musikwala,
I saw your query earlier but I am unsure on what to reply. With respect to immigration it is better to provide what is exactly asked for. Since you have already submitted, I would suggest you make a list of documents that you have submitted as Notarized rather than originals. Then out of them, list out the documents that are really required and submit a CSE with the originals and ask them to attach to your file.

I would also suggest you to get the opinion of Asivad and other senior boarders their opinion once. Just to make sure if anyone else has done this and how they handled this.

It is quite possible that they might accept your Notarized copy as well but we are unsure at this point.

Since you are still above the threshold, I believe you should be good.

Thanks for the reply, rajanvnv. Yes I have messaged Asivad as well. Waiting for his reply. The thing is, I thought notarizing everything would be even better and more authentic looking than simply scanning. And they didn't explicitly specify in the document checklist or FAQ that they don't want notarized copies. Nowhere does it state that. So I'm hoping that they come back to me if they want something else.

Some documents are not notarized though like proof of funds, photos, medical test printouts.

How do I submit a CSE? Is it sent thru email or done online like a form?

Thanks rajan. Asivad is not replying. Maybe he's busy or offline. :)

Well.. Notary is required only when you have a translated document. Otherwise, people generally upload the scanned copies of the original.

Everything I uploaded is all in full colour. Even the notary seals are in colour. So I don't know if it's going to be a problem or not. Does getting a schedule 4 request mean that all your doc uploads are fine? Or do they continue checking your docs even after sending schedule 4 request? I'm thinking of whether to submit a CSE and re-upload all original docs again.

Schedule 4 request is a good sign.

No, I do not recommend the CSE now. Wait for sometime.

They explicitily mentioned "not notarised" in schedule 4 because its a declaration form and you should not authenticate it from notary as cic is solely looking for your signature and assurance on the fact that you will stay in province.

If you provided your certificates with notarised attested, it should be no problem as you have authenticated them. So relax.
