1 yr post graduate course won't lead you to PNP unless you have a job offer. Secondly PGWP depends on actual duration of the program. If your actual duration of program is 2 yrs and you are completing it in 1 year then you would be getting a 2 yr work permit. Else if actual duration is 1 yr then you would be getting 1 year. Thirdly they count only 1 program not the cumulative of what you did, means if you did Two 1 yr courses it would be counted as one as you apply for PGWP on basis of your certificate or degree and not on basis of duration you spent here.

Hi I am new just checking anyone in here applied for Ontario PNP through PGWP through international student stream ?, or is it everyone here in under masters degree stream ,? I am currently doing a 1yr post graduate course at Humber College and i want to know which is the best route ?, i hear some people just do two separate 1 year post graduate programs so they can get 2 year PGWP and apply for PR after however this is costly I have 13 years experience in banking in my country and have my degree already. what determines a good score for nomination etc.. thanks

Well to be really honest and i feel sad to tell you that you won't be given another WP as the one you had already expired. You would be getting a WP only when a company here in Canada willing to give you LMO sponsorship. Else CIC won't allow you the permit as applying for PNP is not a PR process so BRIDGE work permit cant be issued. PR under PNP starts once you submit your application to federal.
CIC issues bridge work permits only to those who have file their PR process. Your file would be held for certain amount of time in PNP office and then would be rejected.

It great to see that many have their "packages" or approvals already but did anyone here apply under the foreign worker stream? As they have asked me for so many supporting documents since September 2013 and they still want more.
My permit expired so I had to leave at the end of last year and return back to my home country, I am in the process of applying for another work permit cause I didn't get it when I tried when I was still in Canada. I am applying again for another work permit now but since they are asking for proof of my "legal status in Canada" I am assuming that it means I have to have a work permit now, does this mean that because I don't have this they will reject my application?? :'(

Congratulations! By last year's record, it averages 8-10months.

It seems that the PNP office did not issue certificates by the time application received.

I think it depends on the officers who are working on the deliveries, some officers would be quick enough some taking their time :D

You're absolutely correct! 4 of us including me within my friends got our PNP in 2-3 months. And, we all had different officers I believe. Applied different times of the year 2013.

WHERE IS MY CERTIFICATE THEN?! I HAVE BEEN WAITING SINCE APRIL 22 2013 :( I am trying to keep positive but when I see people that applied in Fall 2013 getting their certificates before me, I get very frustrated. Don't get me wrong, I am happy for all of you... but it frustrates me that I am not having the best of luck :(
