I never got a reply from my oath form upload. I realized this morning usually I get an auto-reply when I emailed them, but I got nothing. Thinking it was a problem with the attachment, I emailed them without the attachment to ask if they got it, and I got an auto-reply. So that made me think even more there's an issue with the attachement.
I had used a 3rd party tool to compress it since it needed to be below 1000KB. I used my mac to "print to PDF" that PDF, creating a new one, still under 1000KB. I sent it again to the email, but again received no auto-reply.
At this point, I don't know if the auto-reply doesn't happen if there's an attachment or if my attachment is getting blocked.
I googled and found someone saying they uploaded it via the web form, which I thought was a really good idea. I went ahead and did that as a backstop. They won't be able to say they didn't receive it within 48 hours as required, since that goes straight into GCMS.
So, I'm confident it'll get resolved one way or another now, with the web form. I got an email acknowledging the web form upload/message as well.
Because not all applications proceed at the same pace, and they are not processed in strict order of receipt.Does anyone have any explaination as to why December and January applicants are getting oaths and Oct are still waiting for lpp?
Did you get your e-certificate? I still can't get mine. Were you in the Calgary March 26 virtual oath at 10:45am?I don't think we're supposed to get a reply. At least I didn't get one for mine.
I don't know that I said it here, but she got back a form letter in French first and then English (we submitted in English, so I'm sure this was a "canned" response) saying "don't worry about it - it's still in progress" basically. No individualized or useful information was present. Perhaps it'll kickstart something, or perhaps it's handled by another team that doesn't care other than looking at GCMS and is "read-only". It's probably the latter.@USProgrammer hello, you mentioned you filled a webform for your wife as you hadn't heard in a while about her application, I was wondering if you got a response? sorry I lost the thread where you made that comment
End of business day a day later (2nd day) and no e-certificate. -_-Although they say it can be several days, most of the time it seems it gets made available as soon as an officer checks your signed form that you emailed, which is usually quite quick - reports I've seen mostly same day or next.
Fingers crossed, anyway.
This makes me feel a bit better and that it's not me and a my email problem.Took oath March 25 and still waiting for the e-certificate. I see in other threads that some applicants got within 10 min and some got with in an hour. I seriously can’t wait this to be over so that I don’t have to deal with these organizations. What a mess.. they can’t be consistent
I am on the same boatDoes anyone like me still waiting on BG and Prohibition? My AOR is Oct 3rd, 2024.
Any idea how long it would take?
When calling IRCC, they don't have an answer for that too![]()
